To succeed in this role it is vital to reach the acceptance by your stakeholders as an integral part of their business. At the same time you represent the finance governance role. An essential prerequisite for this is to understand the processes of a project oriented operation. Furthermore, it is an advantage to know of the Transport sector.

You will join our Business Finance department
Business Finance delivers business controlling, project controlling and project administration to all Ramboll’s businesses operating in Denmark.
We work in different teams, based on geography, expertise or internal stakeholders. Our keywords are job-satisfaction, independence, responsibility and knowledge sharing, which all contribute to the personal development of each individual employee.
Business Finance consists of 55 employees and the majority work in our head office in Copenhagen. As our new Business Controller you will be part of our Controlling department consisting of 17 people and you will report to the Head of Controlling.
Your workplace will be Aarhus.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:
- Plan and coordinate the budget and forecasting processes for the business area leadership team
- Coordinate and manage the monthly closing process for the business area, including budget and forecast follow up and management reporting
- Support and direct the ongoing financial evaluation process, including working capital management at divisional and department level to ensure proper reflection of financial results
- Act as sparring partner and finance single point of contact for department heads and project managers, especially in complex and risky projects
- Proactively drive a business partnering agenda towards division senior director and department heads, e.g. large tenders/ sales work or strategic initiatives
- Participate in development and alignment of the Ramboll business controller role in general

- A relevant Master degree e.g. Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration, Master of Economics or similar
- We expect you to have significant and relevant professional experience, +5 years
- Fluent English, spoken as well as written, is a prerequisite
