To ensure Ambu’s continued success, we are looking for a Financial Controller to our accounting department in our headquarter in Ballerup.
You will be part of the HQ accounting department that consists of 3 dedicated and professional team members. The accounting department is responsible for accounting activities related to the headquarter and the Nordic Region, such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, fixed assets, VAT etc. You will report to the Finance Manager, HQ and Nordic Accounting. The accounting department is an integrated part of Corporate Finance & Accounting.
Driving reporting and accounting processes
As our new financial controller you will support our stakeholders in Ballerup and our Financial shared service center in Malaysia. You will control and analyze the reported numbers, optimize our accounting processes and be part the forecast and budget process. You will be the go-to person for different accounting areas.

- Month end closing and monthly controlling of financial reporting including explanations
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure a good foundation in the reported numbers in the forecasts and budget
- Annual report
- Ad hoc support to the organization
- Optimization of accounting processes
Solid experience within accounting processes
We expect that you have experience from a similar role.
Professional competencies:
- Bachelor or master’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or similar.
- Minimum 5 years of experience from similar role
- Sound analytical skills within financial information
- Mastering Excel
Personal skills:
- Social intelligent and understand to communicate with different cultures
- Has a desire to learn the answer and not afraid of not knowing it
- Is willing to put in an extra effort to meet reporting deadlines
- Enjoys or would like to be working in a multinational environment
- Works with a “hands on mentality”
