You will be part of the HQ accounting department that consists of 3 dedicated and professional team members. The accounting department is responsible for accounting activities related to the headquarter and the Nordic Region, such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, fixed assets, VAT etc. You will report to the Finance Manager, HQ and Nordic Accounting. The accounting department is an integrated part of Corporate Finance & Accounting.
Driving VAT reporting and processes
As a global company, Ambu A/S has VAT-liable activity in different countries around the world e.g. in Germany and the Nordic countries. You will as our new VAT specialist be responsible for the VAT reporting and statistic reporting. You will monitor the VAT regulation and define the requirements to our financial systems to ensure that we stay in compliance. You will work closely together with our Financial Shared Service Center in Malaysia and be the go-to person for indirect taxes.

Solid experience within VAT processes
We expect that you have some experience from working with VAT reporting, that you like to stay updated with knowledge and competences within indirect taxes and can practice the theory.

- Be proactive, understand and apply the VAT regulation to ensure compliance
- Optimize processes and financial systems to support the VAT reporting
- Participate in regional and global projects
Solid experience within VAT processes
We expect that you have some experience from working with VAT reporting, that you like to stay updated with knowledge and competences within indirect taxes and can practice the theory.
Professional competencies:
- Bachelor or master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or similar.
- Ideal you have experience from working with VAT
- Interest in understanding and optimizing the recording of VAT in our financial systems
- Sound analytical skills within financial information
- Mastering Excel
Personal skills:
- Social intelligent and understand to communicate with different cultures
- Has a desire to learn the answer and not afraid of not knowing it
- Is willing to put in an extra effort to meet reporting deadlines
- Enjoys or would like to be working in a multinational environment
- Works with a “hands on mentality”
