The job
We have an exciting opportunity to work as an Internal Auditor. You will participate in and lead audit assignments to deliver finance and operational audits, which may include data analysis, in order to provide assurance to management and the Audit Committee. You will also contribute to the annual risk assessment and annual audit plan, and provide advisory support to the organization in the implementation and enhancement of controls:
Your qualifications
You will be analytical, with attention to detail but able to propose practical actions. You will have great people skills and are able to listen and communicate clearly whilst being friendly and helpful. Personal integrity is important, and you enjoy working in teams with mixed skills and diverse backgrounds. Our global environment requires an open-minded and pragmatic attitude, including the ability to understand that there may be more than one solution.
Your new team
You will join a small, dedicated team of Internal Audit professionals, committed to establishing the function as a recognised value-adding, capable and effective assurance partner. We're all about building an innovative, creative and diverse Internal Audit team, and constantly challenge both the business and ourselves to be better at what we do.
You will be encouraged to work with a high level of autonomy and independence, and be tasked with driving the Internal Audit function forward. The Internal Audit team has a global reach and limited travelling is expected.
You will report to the Head of Internal Audit, based at LEO Pharma headquarters in Greater Copenhagen, Denmark.

The job
We have an exciting opportunity to work as an Internal Auditor. You will participate in and lead audit assignments to deliver finance and operational audits, which may include data analysis, in order to provide assurance to management and the Audit Committee. You will also contribute to the annual risk assessment and annual audit plan, and provide advisory support to the organization in the implementation and enhancement of controls:
- You will lead and perform financial and operational assurance and advisory engagements through:
- Mapping business processes
- Developing work programmes
- Conducting fieldwork
- Benchmarking and evaluating processes for improvements
- Recommending solutions
- Presenting results to Management
- You will follow-up reviews to monitor and track the implementation of agreed improvements
- You will assist in planning, and development of the annual Internal Audit Plan
- You will research, analyse and share relevant best practices and benchmarking to support Internal Audit recommendations
- You will also contribute to the continuous improvement and development of the Internal Audit standards, manuals and techniques to enhance the quality and effectiveness of our work
Your qualifications
- Relevant university degree in Finance or with business emphasis in a related field
- Demonstrated understanding of finance accounting and auditing principles
- 3-5 years hands-on experience performing corporate audits (internal/ external)
- Qualified Accountant or Auditor status, with hands on experience of SAP preferred
- Some knowledge of data analysis and visualisation tools, (e.g. ACL, Excel, PowerBI), and ability to analyse data, interpret and report the results would be an advantage
