Do you consider yourself a warrior at controlling and do you get excited when you hear the word reporting? Then come join our expanding finance team!
We’re growing at lightning speed, and therefore we need a controlling wizard who can help us streamline and further develop our financial processes.
In 2015 Hobbii consisted of just two young guys and a pallet of yarn. Since then we have been on a crazy expansion journey and last year we were confirmed the fastest growing company in Denmark (yeah, we’re pretty proud of that!)
Being one of the fastest growing e-commerce webshops, doubling in employee numbers in just a year, and expanding our retail network in 2021/22, our Finance Department, now consisting of 6 employees, needs an extra set of hands.

And here's where you come in!
You’ll be responsible for and working with
- Maintaining our accounting policies in accordance with Danish GAAP (ÅRL)
- Maintaining and further optimizing our current reporting process
- Establishing our internal control environment and maintaining it
- Cost controlling of all operating expenses
- FX optimization
- Review of our monthly financial reporting package with high attention to details and accuracy prior to submission to department heads
- Statutory reporting to Authorities, when requested
- Reconciliation and quality assurance of VAT in collaboration with our local and international tax agents
- Support with ad-hoc analyses and assignments
To succeed in this role you’ll need
- A great amount of both ambition and drive
- A wish to help where help is needed
- An optimizing mindset - where you see great opportunities in putting your own "touch" on our existing processes and workflows
- Experience from a similar position where you have minimum 2+ years work experience and a Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance, HA, HD(R) or similar
- Adaptability to busy surroundings and changing priorities
- The ability and interest to support the entire organization
- Skilled in Excel, and knowledgeable with financial systems (If you know Odoo, we’ll be super thrilled)
- A methodical mindset and being a great multitaskerSkilled in Google Sheets is a big plus
