Join the Project Cargo team in Global Operations, Renewable Energy
You will get to join a truly global environment, where you will be instrumental in driving value and improving the way we work. We work closely with our customers to transport components for the renewable energy sector. We are current 7 (and expanding) colleagues based at different locations and spanning a wide range of complementary competences, always ensuring that we have a varied approach to challenges and opportunities and always a supportive and skilled colleague nearby.

Create instant impact and critical capability
As our new Senior Business Controller, your primary focus will be on forming a function that determines, establishes and optimises internal profit-sharing management and the way we work with billing and profit in Global Operations. Specifically supporting our Group Finance efforts, as well as our operations colleagues around the world. You will be a first mover in your field, and hence get to influence and shape the function. Specifically, you will:
• Establish, implement and improve systems, procedures and processes for profit sharing and billing
• Deliver periodical analysis and reporting
• Ensure quality, accuracy and timely billing
• Identify and address bottlenecks, incompliance and opportunities for optimisation
• Manage day-to-day relations and sparring with internal stakeholders globally
• Communicate and implement global procedures and guidelines for us and our customers
• Act as interface between Operations, Group Finance and the customer
• Various project management related tasks – ad-hoc
• For the right candidate there will be an opportunity to take on leadership of a direct report and further ownership and consolidation of internal profit reporting and management

As a person, you are ambitious and have an innovative mindset and you thrive when working in a global environment that spans over many time zones, cultures and ways of working. You value sparring, but you have the confidence to succeed with your tasks without much supervision. You find motivation knowing that you each day positively impact both DSV and your colleagues and customers. Furthermore, we imagine that you;
• Are experienced with the Cargowise1 system
• Are structured, detailed and organized with a flair for numbers and reporting
• Have a cross-functional teamwork mindset
• Ideally have some experience with project and change management
• Forwarder, billing or controller background is an advantage but not a prerequisite
• Have experience with functional and / or people leadership
• Are fluent in English – Danish is not a prerequisite
• This position is preferably based in Aarhus or Hedehusene with the flexibility to work some days from home.
