Project controller for Projects and Planning department in Group Technology.
Are you our next Project Controller for CAPEX projects, working closely with Project managers, Engineering functions, local operating companies and finance? We are looking for a project controller to support our expanding portfolio of CAPEX projects supporting Rockwools growing business.

In Projects & Planning we are amongst others having the responsibility to secure successful execution and implementation of our Investment and Project Portfolio. The function is anchored as part of Group Technology supporting Operating organizations in the implementation of projects and upgrades. Our approach is structured and driven by Project excellence in combination with technology development and market requirements. We are to understand and find solutions for driving of our important investment projects to obtain desired outcome and value.
This is the role
As a project controller, you will have to ensure reliable forecasting and reporting on international projects from beginning to end. This will be in close cooperation with Project management team and local operating organisation.
The Project Controller is responsible for providing the best possible conditions for the Project
Management Team to execute projects at cost.
Besides an ongoing collaboration with Project Management team and stakeholders, you will have a close collaboration with finance team to ensure alignment across the organization.
In this position, you will:
• Project controlling quality, alignment across projects
• Support the monthly financial forecast
• Participate in projects meetings both internally in Group technology and with Project owners/ local organizations.
• Develop TIO (Total Investment Overview) and secure cross project alignment.
• Secure knowledge and integration into the project of local tax and finance laws.
• Development of new systems
• Support PMO team and wise versa
• Analysis of quotations/ projects for gaps and pitfalls
This is what you offer
A team player, who thrive working with a wide array of stakeholders in an international environment. Brings a strong background within cost controlling, having the capabilities of challenging people and numbers. Good at understanding systems, complexity around “large” projects and on the same time ensuring that procedures are followed.
Moreover, we imagine that you:
• Have 5 years+ of experience within Project Controlling, preferable with execution of large engineering and construction projects
• Curios as a person, who wants to learn and contribute in an international environment
• Take ownership on various matters, solve issues with initiatives.
• have a Finance or Accounting degree – or background
• Possess good communication skills, both oral and written
• You communicate in English , potentially Danish as well
• Your IT skills are excellent for Excel, SAP
