This is an exciting opportunity within the Finance & Operations team of Novo Holdings (holding company of the Novo Group and manage the wealth of the Novo Nordisk Foundation).
This position is based in their HQ in Hellerup, Denmark.
Your new company
Novo Holdings A/S, a private limited liability company fully owned by the Novo Nordisk Foundation, is the holding company in the Novo Group, and responsible for managing the Foundation’s assets.
Besides being the major shareholder in the Novo Group companies Novo Nordisk A/S, Novozymes A/S and NNIT A/S, Novo Holdings provides seed and venture capital to development stage companies and takes significant ownership positions in well-established companies within life science, as well as manages a broad portfolio of financial assets.
Your new role
In this position you will be part of the Finance & Operations team playing a key role when it comes to stakeholder management, reporting to Novo Holdings' Leadership team and Board of Directors (monthly and quarterly).
You will be responsible for Novo Holdings’ financial planning processes (rolling estimates, budgets and forecasts), cost controlling, adhoc analysis and benchmarking.
You will be driving financial reporting processes, selected strategic initiatives and performance board meetings.
You will ensure efficient and compliant procurement processes, better practices within Novo Nordisk Procurement while exploring opportunities to tap into framework agreements.
You will support the Finance Director and CFO in defining, prioritising, executing and monitoring Finance Strategic initiatives while supporting the global expansion of Novo Holdings activities by partnering up to understand expansion needs.
You will be responsible for the overall SLA process for the four Group companies.
What you'll need to succeed
You have a Master in Finance, HD(R) or similar finance education and at least 8 years of work experience.
You have solid and extensive finance skills, preferably from a multinational organisation and/or investment environment
You have experience within financial planning and analysis, as well as management reporting
You have experience with driving procurement policies, maintaining/improving compliance levels, process optimization and project management.
You have excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills and generally high level of IT skills within Microsoft office, knowledge of business intelligence tools (e.g. PowerBi) and Microsoft Dynamics BC is an advantage.
You are fluent in English and ideally Danish.
