About the role
We are looking for a dedicated Project Controller to support our Project Execution team in Kalundborg. You will control a small portfolio of projects in the range of 10-100 m.dkk covering both engineering and procurement with a duration of approximately a year at a time.
In this role, you will join our Project Management area consisting approximately 400 highly skilled project employees. You will work as a consultant to our customers independently or as part of a project team.
You will be part of our Project Controlling Team, consisting of approx. 40 highly skilled Project Controllers across Denmark and India. We engage and interact with a variety of stakeholders, and regardless of which of these many stakeholders we face, our ambition is to take a position as trusted advisor; providing our stakeholders support that allows them to feel in control. This requires a proactive mindset and approach to solving tasks and a high level of flexibility.

As a Project Controller, you’ll be
- Project Performance Reporting – Internal & External
- Target monitoring of incentive penalty agreements
- Earned Value Management analyzing together with PM
- Risk Management analysizing together with PM
- Burn Rate Reporting
- Profit & Loss reporting and analysis
- Forecast evaluating on engineering and procurement
- Project financial reviews during year-end closing

- You work well independently as project controller
- You find it easy to establish new relations, also on a distance
- Good understanding of project economy and forecasting
- Good analytical skills
The miles you’ve walked
In all positions there are some things that are needed, and others a bonus. We believe these qualifications are needed for you to do well in this role:
- An educational background (Bachelor) within Economics or equivalent
- 3-5 years of experience within Project Controlling from the pharmaceutical industry or similar
- Knowledge within Project Planning and Project Risk Management is an advantage, but not key
- Interest in working in an energetic environment with highly skilled colleagues
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong ability to create structure and handle several projects simultaneously
- Experience with using PIMS, NAV, SAP, Excel, Power point – Excel is the most important
- Knowledge in using Earned Value Management methodology
- Fluent in English, spoken and written. If you also speak Danish, it is an advantage.
- You live in Denmark and can be in Kalundborg most days.
