In this role you will become part of a dedicated payroll team of 6 employees reporting directly to the Operational Payroll Manager for Denmark. You will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders such as the People Advisory team, People Partners, and our external payroll vendor.

Key Responsibilities
As our new Payroll Specialist, you will manage pre-payroll, on-cycle payroll, and off-cycle payroll processes.
Some of your key responsibilities will be:
- Extracting the T&A data and provide the same to payroll provider
- Validating payroll results & provide approvals for final pay credits based on control reports
- Annual payroll reconciliation and new Payroll Year preparation
- Ensuring timely Social Insurance Tax Payment and Reporting
- Managing advance payments
- Tracking vendor deliverables on payroll SLAs vide defined payroll metrics
- Being risk aware and help identify, report, mitigate and track risks in the payroll delivery process
- Supporting the Payroll Manager in providing necessary data and clarifications to questions raised by audit – internal and external
- Managing the timely submission of RICC controls
- Participating in Time and Attendance initiatives including system upgrades, communication of changes to People Partners, testing and documenting all changes for historical and record retention policies, project support as needed
- Interfacing with People Partners to support employee/manager queries
- Identifying improvement opportunities in regional processes and raise them to global process managers
- Facilitating knowledge transfer across different parties involved in service
delivery in the current operating model, the core program team,
external implementation partner, etc.
We are looking for
Our ideal candidate is well-structured with excellent collaboration skills, and has previous experience in managing Payroll and Time & Attendance processes within a complex international organization. This goes along with knowledge of compliance and legal regulations for payroll & benefits in Denmark.

Furthermore, we are looking for someone who has
- Broader HR Operations experience as well as exposure to an outsourced payroll model would be a benefit.
- A proactive, ‘let’s get it done’ attitude geared towards continuous improvement
- Flexibility and adaptability to operate in a fast-paced, developing project environment, taking ownership, and setting directions with minimal guidance
- A collaborative working style, fostering cooperation and teamwork to find
solutions - Fluency in English. Any other languages would be a plus
- Highly analytical approach with a strong eye for detail
- Structured working style and focus on delivering results as per agreed
timescales and scope.
