You will join a team of varied professionals who operate on a divisional basis working for all our subsidiaries in Europe. The divisional finance team is the key source of information for the DFDS Logistics divisional management team and you will be the dedicated Controller for one of the business unit heads.
In close collaboration with local Finance Business Partners, you make sure that data quality and accuracy are upheld in our financial reporting. You also play a central role in continuous improvement of management reporting and forecast processes in close cooperation with divisional and local management.
Together with your 4 colleagues you will be reporting to the Divisional CFO.

Your roles and responsibilities
Together with your colleagues in the divisional finance team you will focus on the drivers of profitability and continuously assist on increasing transparency in financial and management reporting to match business needs. You will take pride in delivering timely and accurate data in a consistent and efficient way.
You will be involved in various projects with focus on increasing data transparency, process standardization, implementation of new systems and more. Additionally, you can expect to focus on:
You should expect to have limited business travel - primarily in northern Europe – estimated at maximum 5-15 days per year.
Business oriented financial professional with ambitions
The ideal candidate possesses a good understanding of Logistics and has worked in an international organization. It will be a benefit if you have experience from working with BI and Tableau.
We expect you to have a bachelor or master degree within finance as well as good English skills, as English is our business language. You have a couple of years of relevant experience and have gained the financial basic experience through previous roles as Business and/or Financial Controller. It is important that you understand the logic behind financial consolidation of group accounts and are familiar with international accounting standards.
We are looking for a self-starter with a systematic and analytical approach to the tasks. As we are an international company, it is important that you possess good communication skills and can work in a team across cultural and international differences. In this role, it is of importance that you can communicate confidently with all levels of the organization and are able to explain financial concepts to non-finance people.

- Support and preparation of monthly divisional reporting, quarterly reporting as well as quarterly forecasting for Logistics Division
- Continuous development and implementation of our SAP-BPC, Microsoft Dynamics, BI and Tableau reporting tools
- Thorough analysis of data, identifying needs for process alignment and drive changes through to increase data transparency
