Group Finance Reporting & Compliance Financial Processes, Systems Compliance
Financial Processes, Systems & Compliance, a department under Vestas Group Finance, is responsible for defining and securing global financial compliance by enforcing a strong risk awareness and efficient internal control framework, as well as developing reliable finance systems and process solutions to support Vestas Group Finance in cooperation with Global IT.
As our new Financial Compliance Specialist, you will work closely with senior members in the team in a variety of tasks and activities to ensure that processes, risks, controls and systems operate as intended.

Group Finance Reporting & Compliance Financial Processes, Systems Compliance
Financial Processes, Systems & Compliance, a department under Vestas Group Finance, is responsible for defining and securing global financial compliance by enforcing a strong risk awareness and efficient internal control framework, as well as developing reliable finance systems and process solutions to support Vestas Group Finance in cooperation with Global IT.
As our new Financial Compliance Specialist, you will work closely with senior members in the team in a variety of tasks and activities to ensure that processes, risks, controls and systems operate as intended.
Responsibilities
Specifically, you will be involved in the following activities:
- Spare and cooperate with Process Owners, Regional Finance, Shared Service Center, etc. on implementation of policies, procedures and internal controls
- Improve and develop the control framework over financial reporting, including design evaluation and operating effectiveness of financial controls across the Group
- Be part of securing high-quality internal control self-assessment
- Participate in Financial Compliance Visits across the company
- Assess the risks of financial processes including mitigating activities, follow-up actions, development and improvement of policies and procedures
- Prepare materials on financial compliance matters for Senior Management and Audit Committee
- Participate in projects to ensure focus on financial compliance matters i.e. supporting SAP PC automation of internal controls, continuous monitoring of internal controls, and implementation of data analytics
Qualifications
We are looking for a talented and ambitious person who has:
- Solid understanding of a complex financial control environment with 2-4 years' experience from an internal audit or internal control function in an international organisation or in an audit consultancy company
- Relevant degree in Business Administration, Auditing or Finance
- Experience with SAP, accounting and IFRS reporting is a plus
- Technical flair for new technological and digital solutions
- Strong communication skills and fluency in English is a requirement
