With direct references to our Service Hosting Manager, you will become a part of our Service Hosting department a part of our Solution and Service Delivery Division. You will become a part of a growing, energetic and well-qualified team, currently consisting of six colleagues who cooperate enthusiastically with streamlining, centralizing, and automating the operation of our global, customer-facing IT infrastructure and platforms.
Demands for global expansion and complex solutions set new expectations to our team and to you as our new Team Lead. The team you will be responsible for, is highly specialized in Kamstrup's self-developed software, the associated infrastructure as well as our platform, and is located in Denmark and the US. The area is characterized by high complexity and the use of heavy IT tools, systems on hybrid cloud platforms in the US and EMEA.
A job with focus on management an operational IT hosting
As our new Team Lead for IT Hosting & Operations, you will be responsible for your team's deliveries, skills and talent development and motivation. In addition, your primary task is to secure the daily operation, including the continuous development and maturation of tasks and projects.
Specifically, your responsibility will be to:
• Secure the daily operation in the team with focus on a consistent high level of service to our customers
• Ensure a high degree of documentation and quality in the team
• Challenge status quo and optimize processes
• Participate actively in daily problem solving in collaboration with Kamstrup’s Global Operations department and other stakeholders
• Allocate resources for internal and customer projects
• Drive team transformation to include new methods like DevOps, DevSecOps and GitOps
• Cooperate closely with architects and software development teams to transform our infrastructure and CI/CD processes to match scaling, security and compliance requirements
In the job you should expect approx. 10 travel days a year.
Personality matters
You hold a degree within IT or Engineering and have at least three years of experience with managing a small operational infrastructure/platform team. It is an advantage if you have knowledge of the Microsoft Windows server platform, Azure cloud and Azure Kubernetes Service.
As a person, you are self-organized and like to create results in collaboration with others. You thrive in a position with many stakeholders and you possess strong communicative skills which enable you to communicate decisions and information’s to your team and the organization. You are able to make decisions based on the knowledge at hand, when needed. Furthermore, you like to take responsibility and you want to make a difference.
You are fluent in English both written and oral. Danish will be an asset.
