Group Financial Controller

European Energy is an international company in exponential growth. We develop, build and operate wind and solar parks globally as well as Power-to-X and energy storage projects. Consequently, we play a significant role in resolving the climate issues by reducing the world’s CO2 emissions. We are around 330 employees with 30 different nationalities, and we have installed green energy projects for over 18 billion DKK since 2004. Our HQ is in Søborg with a view of Copenhagen.
As our new Group Financial Controller, you will work with continuous improvement of our controlling framework to ensure timely and relevant reporting in high quality. You will engage with other departments across the company to understand the numbers and enhance the internal reporting and budgeting process. Moreover, you will play a significant role in the preparation of interim and annual reporting and have close contact to external auditors.
As a person, you are curious and driven. You have a background within auditing and solid experience with financial reporting and controlling. You are proactive and work independently and take ownership of your tasks. You have good communication skills and find yourself working well with internal stakeholders across departments and at all levels as well as external stakeholders. You moreover thrive working in an international environment with fast growth.

Responsibilities
- Controlling of group numbers to ensure quality reporting
- Enhance internal reporting and budget process
- Preparation of interim and annual reporting, including contact to other departments in European Energy and external auditor
- Ad hoc analysis and support to other functions
Your Profile
- You have +5 years of experience from a Big4 firm and/or experience from a similar position, providing solid accounting and reporting knowledge
- You hold a Graduate Diploma (HD-R) or master’s degree (cand.merc.aud)
- You have an analytical and curious mindset
- You act with integrity and accountability, take initiative and ownership, and you are able to work independently to deliver timely and in high quality
- You have full professional proficiency in English
- Knowledge about Hyperion (HFM) and SmartView is an advantage
