Document Controller

We are seeking for an experienced Document Controller to join one of the largest Railway Projects in Denmark. Our project is part of Thales Global Business Unit, Main Line Signalling. As Document Controller, you will be part of the Project Management Office in Thales Denmark A/S, located in Søborg and Dybbølsbro. This position, refer directly to the Documentation Manager.
In the position as Document Controller, your primary responsibilities will be to:

In 2012, Banedanmark, the Danish rail infrastructure, awarded a consortium composed of Thales and Strukton Rail with a contract to upgrade the Signalling system in Jutland, the Western part of Denmark (approx. 1.200 km of the Danish railway network) to the new European ETCS Level 2 system. Since then, Thales in Denmark has been working on the design and building of the system in close cooperation with Strukton Rail and Thales peers in Germany. Internally, the program is called the 'F-Bane West program' and deployment phase will be followed by a maintenance phase by 2023.

Document Controller

We are seeking for an experienced Document Controller to join one of the largest Railway Projects in Denmark. Our project is part of Thales Global Business Unit, Main Line Signalling. As Document Controller, you will be part of the Project Management Office in Thales Denmark A/S, located in Søborg and Dybbølsbro. This position, refer directly to the Documentation Manager.
In the position as Document Controller, your primary responsibilities will be to:
- Perform quality and compliance checks on documents
- Ensure timely submission to the customer
- Archive and align various documentation systems
- Maintain a document register
- Report progress on the documentation status and maintaining Key Performance Indicators
- Train and support employees in documentation handling
- Provide other project management services and business support to the organization.

Do you have experience from a similar position?
Our expectations are as high as yours, and we imagine that you have experience from a previous job in which you are familiar with the following:
- knowledge of Electronic Documentation Management Systems
- commitment to quality and great attention to detail
- working with people from different cultures, countries and companies
- not afraid to make contact to relevant key-persons
- full professional proficiency in English and excellent communication skills
- sound knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel
