Accounting Director

We are looking for a Director to head up our Accounting department. The Director will report to CFO Carsten Ringius and be responsible for the management of the finance area which consists of accounting, financial controlling, reporting, and tax. The area of responsibility includes 8 direct reports in Denmark and a total team of 26 employees, located in affiliates in Europe and Asia.

The scope of the role is to impact and work with continuous improvement, transparency, and manageability throughout the finance organization. The role calls for a dynamic profile capable of supporting the overall strategy of NNIT and developing the team to meet and support the targets.

The Director must be able support the CFO with insights, analysis, and presentation material that can ensure clear and swift communication. Solid experience of risk mapping and ability to understand key risk elements of a project- and consultancy-based organization is important.

Your responsibilities:
- Provide accurate and timely consolidated financial reporting for the group to the management and the board
- Ensure all financial reporting is consistent with proper accounting and regulatory requirements
- Preparation of all quarterly and annual reporting
- Ensure high quality when it comes to compliance with IFRS and company policies
- Ensure clear communication of company results
- Co-Responsible for budgeting and rolling estimates, planning, and target setting
- Provide leadership to the finance teams to ensure compliant / accurate reporting and strong internal controls
- Provide leadership in reporting processes, ensure robustness and scalability
- Participate in M&A activities
- Preparing material and presentations for the Board of Directors
Your qualifications and experience:
- You hold a Master of Science in Business Administration and Auditing or similar degree within economics and finance
- A minimum of 5-7 years of experience from a similar position gained in listed company
- Experience with driving change and process optimisation
- Experience with ERP implementation
- Proficient in Danish and English, spoken and written
- It is essential that the Director is an excellent people manager with good personal impact skills, as well as communication skills, who can lead a finance team and build effective working relations.
