A KEY ROLE IN GLOBAL AUDITING
As a part of our Lead Auditing corps, you will join a team of highly skilled experts and perform full time auditing. You will be entrusted with the responsibility and mandate to audit COWI projects, and line management, across the globe within COWIs management systems. You will coach and support project and line managers to achieve spotless production by increased user adoption of our tools and processes. Moreover, you will maintain efficient and up-to-date training material, in COWI Academy training catalogue, based on inputs and learnings from audits.

To succeed as Lead Auditor, you have a talent for driving change and converting resistance to motivation. You thrive in a high-paced work environment and possess the ability to manage tasks and stakeholders with competing interest. You feel comfortable being measured against KPIs and target numbers for completed audits. You have a pragmatic approach to challenges and a polite, accommodating, but persistent attitude towards colleagues at all levels. You are a concise and effective communicator, in addition to this, you navigate seamlessly across organisational levels as well as diverse cultural settings.

You can look forward to a challenging position, on a day-to-day basis you will contribute to:
- The fulfilment of annual audit plans across the organisation, covering technical, financial and managerial aspects
- Improve COWIs procedures & processes to meet e.g. ISO requirements in a lean, non-bureaucratic way
- Communicate audit results to stakeholders and manage non-compliances, incl. root cause analysis
- Leverage audit findings to identify training needs
- Sparring and training of project and line managers in using COWI Group best practice tools & processes

To become COWI's new Lead Auditor you will need to match the following:
- A minimum requirement is 2-3 years of experience as a Project Manager in the engineering industry
- Preferably a degree in engineering
- Knowledge of ISO standards; ISO9001, ISO45001 and ISO14001
- Experience in auditing, internal auditing experience is a minimum requirement
- Experience with Business Process Management
- Experience with improvement techniques, training or coaching
- Experience in applying Lean/Six Sigma methodologies
- Strong communication skills and professional proficiency in English is a must, proficiency in a Scandinavian language is an advantage, but not a requirement
