Our team
We are about 45 colleagues in Group Finance – which covers all activities from controlling to business advisory, treasury, and tax. You will be joining our Group Financial Controlling team where we secure the accounts and the internal and external reporting from all Group companies. We are a team of 8 highly competent colleagues striving to do our very best in supporting and advising the business globally. Tasks & responsibilities
Your main responsibility is to take part in the monthly closing of group figures and be responsible for selected areas of monthly controlling and reporting. To be successful in your role you establish close communication and a proactive engagement with the local finance departments located around the world, - ensuring high quality insights into the financials and analysis on internal and external reporting.
In this role, it is furthermore important to be in a close dialogue with the business, using your accounting and finance experience to build business-oriented financial solutions.
You will also be translating financial figures into accurate and timely reporting and insight to management, securing a solid foundation for business decisions.
Finally, you will drive improvement in the financial reporting process across functions, countries and organizational layers – with a talent for working smarter leveraging of IT tools, developing smart solutions.
The tasks of the Group Financial Controller are versatile and will among others consist of:
- Consolidation of monthly and quarterly accounts for internal use and for external quarterly reporting to the stock exchange
- Technical lead on IFRS development and queries
- Responsible to roll-out of global accounting guidelines and policies in the Group
- Financial controlling of entities
- Preparation of the annual report
- Participation in finance related projects e.g. ISA 540, developing financial controlling
- Contribute to setting the direction for Group Financial Controlling to raise competencies and performance in the team
- Ad hoc tasks and analyses
Your toolbox
You have a MSc in Business Administration & Auditing, Finance, Accounting or similar and a minimum of 8-10 years of experience from an international auditing business and/or from controlling in a NASDAQ/large/medium international company. Furthermore:
- You have experience with group controlling, consolidation and reporting processes, plus solid accounting and comprehensive IFRS skills.
- You are a pro-active user of IT/accounting systems and have hands-on experience with financial consolidation system, particularly SAP BPC experience is useful here.
- Your mindset is data-driven with strong analytical and numerical skills and interest in automation and improvements of processes and reporting. All in all, you make the complex simple in respect of processes, tools, and communication.
