With reference to the company’s Accounting Manager and in collaboration with the financial team, you will work as an experienced Accountant at our headquarters currently situated in Ålsgårde in Denmark with all areas of the accounting function in the organization of IJH A/S in close dialogue with other teams.
The ideal candidate is skilled and self-empowered in dealing with financial management, figures, data, IT systems and has solid experience as an accountant - including the daily bookkeeping, handling of creditors and reconciliation of accounts, LC payments and financial receipt of good. The accountant will be part of a highly qualified, who ensures accuracy, integrity and compliance to accounting standards in reporting of financial results in cooperation with the rest of the finance team.

PRIMARY WORK ASSIGNMENTS:
- Daily management accounting for the different business lines and be part of the monthly and yearly closing processes
- Ensure compliance to internal controls policies and procedures
- Ensure accuracy and compliance to accounting standards in reporting of financial results
- Be part of all local statutory work including transfer pricing, tax, customs and VAT
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations in line with group policies including control of cash balances
- Posting of financial documents as well as deposits and withdrawals and reconciliation of banks
- Posting of Payroll for hourly paid and monthly paid employees and tasks in relation to payrolls
- Ongoing reconciliations of inventory accounts and other operating accounts
- General finance accounting and other incidental tasks in the Finance department
- Handling of contracts, obligations and other incidental tasks in the Finance department
YOUR PROFILE - YOU ARE / HAVE:
Working experience in accounting, ideally 3-5 years from an audit firm or similar roles with experience of accounting and reconciliations
- Preferably an accounting / education with a specialization in auditing of SME / production company
- Responsible, conscientious, taking ownership of own tasks and meet deadlines
- A result- and solution-oriented mindset regarding work tasks
- Efficient, with the ability to keep calm and carry on and having a great overview also under pressure
- Flexible, motivating, confident, hardworking, loyal and a good colleague and team player.
- You are an experienced user of MS Office, preferably a super user of MS Excel
- Knowledge of D365FO and Visma Dataløn - will be a great advantage, but it is not a requirement
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written
