European Energy is an international company in rapid growth. We cover the entire value chain within wind and photovoltaic (PV) projects, from greenfield development to construction, operation, and divestment. Our company of 310 employees handles a pipeline of more than 20.0 GW of renewable energy in various project stages. We operate globally and employ 26 different nationalities at our HQ in Copenhagen and our offices in Sweden, the UK, Germany, Poland, Italy, Lithuania, and Spain. Our mission is to be a significant name in the global transition to a fossil-free society.
As our new Accountant, you will be part of our skilled accounting team in Denmark with solid ties to our financial controllers. You will be responsible for the accounting processes of European Energy´s Swedish companies as well as providing business support to other departments and improving current processes and deliveries.
You will cooperate with Swedish authorities, affiliates, and tax advisors on a regular basis. The role gives you the opportunity to take part in future automation projects as well as optimize our already existing processes.

Areas of responsibilities
- Accounting of Swedish companies in European Energy Group
- Daily accounting tasks – eg. bookkeeping and bank payments
- Financial reconciliation of accounts
- Period End tasks
- VAT, Tax, and other local filings (in corporation with external advisors)
- Collaboration with auditors
- Optimizations of tasks and processes
- Automation Projects
Your profile
- You hold a bachelor’s degree within accounting/finance or similar
- You have 5+ years of experience in general accounting principles, Swedish VAT, and Swedish compliance
- You have good knowledge of working in Navision Dynamics or similar and Invoice workflow experience
- You are a professional user of Excel
- You are fluent in Swedish and English
