About the role
We are looking for a Financial Accountant to join our team of 10 dedicated employees in Accounting & Tax. The team handles the entire range of accounting tasks, including financial operations and bookkeeping, as well as group accounting and financial controlling.
In this role, you will work closely with your colleagues in the department and our colleagues in India to handle daily accounting tasks, with a particular focus on payroll-related tasks. We place great emphasis on continuously developing the accounting area and optimizing our financial processes to ensure that we operate in the smartest and most efficient way.
The Accounting & Tax team works closely with various departments, including HR, Legal, Financial Planning & Analytics, and Project Controlling. This means you will have the opportunity to interact with many stakeholders across the organization. Additionally, we collaborate with our parent company Novo Nordisk, which is also our payroll administrator.
You will be based at ’s headquarters in Virum. We offer flexible working conditions, which means you can largely structure your day yourself.

As a Financial Accountant, you will handle a variety of accounting tasks, primarily focusing on payroll but eventually also in other areas. You will, among other things:
- Manage payroll-related tasks, including data processing, reporting, analysis, and posting of items such as vacation, travel, and overtime
- Perform bookkeeping and reconciliation
- Address payroll-related questions and requests from colleagues across the organization
- Calculate stock-based compensation
- Handle various accounting and controlling tasks

- Relevant accounting education
- +3 years of experience
- Understand basic bookkeeping and accounting
- Are used to working in Excel and have experience with an ERP system
- Are fluent in Danish and English both written and orally
