At Johnson Controls in Aarhus, Denmark, we are currently looking for a new Sales Engineer, who will be responsible for supporting our internal and external customers with sales solutions, and thus contribute to the continuous development of the organization.

Today, Johnson Controls leads the market within design, marketing, sale and service of refrigeration plants and heat pumps for industrial, marine and offshore applications.

What you will do

As our new Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for offering sales support to our customers and partners in a number of countries. You will become point-of-contact for your customers, and you will develop and maintain relations with a number of stakeholders, including your customers, partners and our factory.

In this role, you will touch upon several aspects of the sales process, including preliminary research and support, quotations, design specifications, participation in customer meetings and consultations. Moreover, you will leverage your technical insight into calculation and design of optimal solutions in collaboration with your customers.

You will become part of a team consisting of 13 individuals – all located at our office facilities in Aarhus. You can expect up to 20 days of travel per year.

Who we look for

You probably hold a degree in Engineering or similar. Perhaps you have a couple of years’ experience, but not necessarily from sales. Your most important qualification is a technical mindset that enables you to understand, advise and support your customers with regard to their technical needs. You are a skilled negotiator and communicator, and you speak and write English fluently. Finally, you thrive in an independent role, but you also appreciate and understand the value of teamwork.
