In Commercial Operations, we are dedicated to ensuring excellence in all customer-facing interactions. We do so by working closely with our local teams to ensure they have the right processes, tools, procedures and best practices to deliver value-adding support to our customers.
Improve our sales set-up, support our local markets and manage strategic projects
“Your job is to help us answer questions like “How should our ideal salesperson interact with our customers? How do we best support our customers? How do we best address the different customers in the local markets?” So, your advice will have a tremendous impact,” Mikkel Kristiansen continues.
You help us develop and implement the best processes and tools to ensure that our salespeople are the best possible advisors to our customers. The input you provide will be used by local sales, other local functions and global functions like marketing. You will facilitate the change that needs to happen, but it will be carried out locally, with strong support from our team.
Some of your main tasks will be to:
You will travel up to 40 days a year to meet with colleagues and clients, primarily in Europe.
This is a great role for the right ambitious candidate. It will help build your understanding of the industry and commercial skills while giving you a great network across the GN family. The high exposure and many touch points of the role will naturally lead to future great opportunities at HQ or abroad.
You are excited to implement change and have experience with strategy and business development
It is important that your colleagues all over the organization have an experience of benefitting from working with the team. Therefore, your ability to build relationships and mobilize support from different stakeholders will be highly valued.

- Support the continuous improvement of our sales process, sales capabilities, tools and supporting systems
- Support local and regional management in driving local go-to-market strategies
- Work with local commercial teams and management on anchoring key commercial processes and procedures
- Keep in touch with developments in our markets and line of business and share your findings
- Drive and participate in strategic commercial projects across the region

Professionally, you would be a great match if:
- You perhaps have a background in economy or business from a business school or university, but your specific education is not crucial
- You are at the start of your career and have a few years’ experience working with strategy and business development – maybe as a consultant
- You have experience with project management in an international setting
- You are a superuser of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint and preferably have some knowledge of Salesforce (experience with Salesforce Lightning is a plus)
