Ballerup

We are looking for an engaged colleague for our International Operations department starting from 15th of May in our office in Ballerup.

It is a full time position.

Salary according to qualifications, including pension and health insurance

Delta of Scandinavia is a Danish incoming bureau working in the whole Nordic region, including Sweden, Norway, Finland, Iceland and the Baltic Countries. We offer handling of individuals, private guided tours, roundtrips and a selection of prime quality hotels with excellent rates. We have also a division for groups.

We are a team who works closely together to deliver the best possible product and service to our customers. We are ambitious, but friendly team players, who like to share our knowledge, try new things, and learn from our mistakes.

Challenges for you:

  • Handling busy days and high season
  • Handling last minute changes and emergency situations while our customers are travelling
  • Some days might be longer than others, unpredictable things can happen

Who are you?

  • You speak and write fluently English
  • You have experience in Excel and Word
  • Service minded
  • Self driven and have good communication skills, not only with our customers, but also with your team
  • It is an advantage if you have worked in an incoming tour operator / DMC before, but not a must

Primary working tasks

  • Arrange hotel and excursions in connection with inquiries and bookings
  • Quotation and offers for groups and individuals
  • Account management – customer contact and care
  • Follow-up
  • Develop new products
  • Invoicing
  • Contract negotiations with suppliers
