Now, we are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Global Training Sales Executive to be in post as soon as possible.

About the position
As a Global Training Sales Executive your primary areas of responsibility will be to develop and maintain VIKING’s training customer portfolio, ensure high quality ad hoc support and advance our external growth initiatives. Further, you will be contributing to VIKING's training ambitions in the future, you will be our customers’ go-to contact for offerings, support on technical solutions and training expertise, including courses and programs, Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) training, and rules & regulations.

In this role, you’ll apply your excellent sales, support and communication skills and experience to further develop VIKING’s performance while maintaining our best-in-class status across the sector.

This position is full time and may include up to 20 international travel days a year.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Drive training projects in cooperation with the Academy team and customers
  • Attend customer meetings and seek new customers together with subsidiaries
  • Follow up on current customers and projects and renew expiring contracts
  • Work closely together with internal stakeholders to secure MES training sales for our evacuation systems
  • Plan and coordinate execution of training contracts together with trainers and customers
  • Define customer needs and translate them into training development projects
  • Work closely together with VIKING IT to deliver technical solutions on training
  • Be a ‘super user’ on VIKING IT systems including the Learning Management System
  • Create and maintain sales orders in SAP
  • Develop marketing materials
  • Report on KPI’s
  • Carry out administrative tasks

Your background
Your career could have included positions within sales/support of e-learning and training programs within the maritime industry or of relevance to the position.

However, regardless of whether you come from the areas of oil/gas, energy, wind power or the shipping industry - we would very much like to hear from you. The ideal person has experience in a similar position, also understanding and being able to define a customer's needs.

On a personal level, you are proactive and curious with a commercial mindset. And, of course, you have a "can do" attitude.

  • 3-5 years in a similar position and experience within sales of e-learning training programs or similar
  • Able tonavigate a global organization with many stakeholders
  • Solid business understanding from working in an international company
  • Fluent in English and Danish
