Would you like to be part of an e-commerce journey? Then join us and help launch our web shop offering existing customers great deals on office supplies, packaging and workwear.

The suppliers are in place, the web shop itself has been built, the customers are just within reach –now we only need your sales and marketing expertise to take the first ever DSV web shop to the next level.

“You will be at the absolute starting point as we introduce the web shop to our pilot countries, Denmark and Sweden. The dream is that it will eventually cover all our 80 countries – and as it grows, so will your role,” Senior Director, Group Procurement, Andreas Håkansson explains.

Become the second half of a dynamic duo
Your closest colleague will be the e-commerce platform manager working out of Warsaw, Poland. Together, you will run the web shop and complement each other with your different skills, steering the web shop towards success.

You will be based in Denmark as a part of Group Procurement. Even though we have our individual areas of responsibility, we naturally help each other out – because for us, that is true team spirit, and we enjoy each other’s company

Help us reach existing small and medium-sized customers

Your main tasks are to drive customer awareness, generate sales on the web shop and to be responsible for the overall sales budget. Sometimes you will help the e-commerce platform manager out on tasks that are not sales-related and vice versa so that you ensure the success of the web shop as a team.

Because of the novelty of the position, your tasks will change along the way. Some of them will be to:

  • Align the introduction of the web shop with the greater sales efforts of our account managers
  • Present the web shop to our internal freight forwarders, so they can help you spread the message to the customers
  • Approach existing small and medium-sized customers in cooperation with the business
  • Be responsible for the quarterly reporting
  • Analyse monthly sales figures and identify product focus areas

Your education is not essential – what matters is your approach and previous work experience.

We imagine that you:

  • Can show good results from having worked with sales and marketing within e-commerce – preferably with products like office supplies, packaging and workwear
  • Speak and write English fluently
