Unicontrol is created together with users from the construction industry to ensure that their needs are fully met. Unicontrol 3D is the only system on the market that provides full support of the swing-boom. Unicontrol 3D saves time, resources and delivers exact data for excavation.

BACKGROUND
Within just a few years, Unicontrol has revolutionized the market for GPS control systems for excavators. The company currently has some of Scandinavias largest construction companies as customers and is rapidly expanding the platform - now moving on to the DACH region. As one of several new players on the team, you will have the opportunity to join a massive growth journey with great, global ambitions. The main client portfolio consists of distributors and OEM partners.

THE POSITION
As Sales Manager, your overall task is to expand, develop and operate Unicontrol's commercial platform in the DACH region via proactive efforts in the market. You must focus in particular on mapping market potential and signing partner agreements with new potential distributors.

The main focus of the position:

  • Proactive search and sign agreements with new distributors to cover the entire product and solutions portfolio across all relevant markets and business areas
  • Preparation of business cases as a decision basis for establishing new partnerships.
  • Develop, cultivate, and train a distributor network capable of supporting Unicontrols product solutions and maximizing market penetration via sub dealers and direct accounts in the market.
  • Support distributors in regional market action planning with specific focus on delivering growth, market share and profitability improvement in the distributor’s territory.
  • Support the distributors in all kinds of sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Conduct ongoing training of both distributors and distributors customers to secure a high level of knowledge as basis for both commercial initiatives and the distributors ongoing customer support and service.
  • Provide feedback of market needs to the Product Management team - e.g. via joint customer visits with the distributors, retrieval and use of market data and insights as well as independent visits to relevant key players in the business area.
  • Exhibit and promote company core values of strong teamwork, honesty, determination, and maintain a professional company image at all times.

You must be able to manage complex, multiple channels of distribution in the region and to establish and develop longterm partnerships based on close cooperation and interaction.

THE CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate has a technical background combined with some years of experience in market building, sales management and sales activities focussed on distributors or large key customers.

Specifically, the candidate should be / have:

  • A comprehensive understanding of technical and technological products and solutions.
  • Some years of experience from a commercial position with focus on the construction industry - preferably within 3D Machine Control Systems or related technologies.
  • Strong analytical skills regarding markets, competitors, opportunities and operational performance.
  • A business and result orientated mindset and the ability to work with sales and pipeline management, and sales and growth strategies on a solid professional level.
  • The ability to establish close customer relationships and a heartfelt understanding of the importance of taking responsibility and be an active part in the customers business.
  • Comfortable and motivated in a growth-oriented environment in constant change and state of flux.
  • Proactive outreach and communicative as well as having both the ability and the will to take personal responsibility for result creation in your areas of responsibility.
  • Fluent in English and German.
  • Ability to conduct most of your effort and daily work in the market and therefore run a high and flexible travel intensity.

In addition, it is important that you are motivated by the opportunity of joining a young, entrepreneurial company with high, global ambitions. You must be a natural team-player with strong communication and interpersonal skills combined with a pronounced will to succeed.

SALARY ETC.
Salary: Base + bonus, pension, IT etc.
Car: Possibility.
Residence: DACH-country or Denmark (home office).
