In the exciting role as Key Account Manager, you will work with SSI Diagnostica’s full product portfolio and sales towards the clinical and industrial segments. You will contribute to SSI Diagnostica’s ambition to become the leading supplier in the Nordic region of diagnostic products and automated customer solutions. Today, SSI Diagnostica is the market leader in its segment in Denmark, and your responsibility is to strengthen this position and expand the customer base with potential new sales.

Project sales and long-lasting customer relationships


SSI Diagnostic’s current customer base is built on long lasting relationships where they deliver best in class solution and service. The sales cycle can be more than one year and hence it is important that you work closely with the customer to understand their specific needs and thereby be able to offer the best solution. You will report directly to the Nordic Sales Manager and you will be responsible for the Capital region and Region North in Denmark. It is expected that you will have approx. bi-weekly travels to Region North to visit existing and new potential customers.

Your key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Sales and promotional activities in your territory
  • Sales of SSI Diagnostica’s entire product portfolio, including Immuview, and commodities such as QFT and Quantamatrix. Sales will be to both the clinical and industrial segments
  • You are responsible for implementing the strategies and activities in your area, in collaboration with the Product Manager and Nordic Sales Manager
  • You will be responsible for congresses and meetings in your area, as well as being responsible for planning customer meetings and sales promotion activities
  • Develop a Go-to-Market strategy for the various product areas. This will be done in collaboration with the Marketing and Product Manager

Structured and analytic


In order to have success in this position, it is an advantage if you have a background within microbiology, diagnostic or similar field of business. Furthermore, it is of preference if you have 5+ years’ experience in project sales where the sales cycle can be more than one year and where it is very important to build a close relationship with the customers. As a person you have an analytic mindset and are driven by delivering results based on facts. You are able to talk and present to senior staff in the labs and clinics and enjoy thinking outside the box to ensure best possible solution for the customers. We expect that you are fluent in Danish as well as English and of course experienced in working and navigating in CRM systems etc.
