For our customer TRIAX we are looking for an international Sales Manager to handle sales in selected export markets, including in particular the Benelux and Poland, as well as a Tier 2 group consisting of Greece, Turkey, Italy, the Baltics and Russia. A position where you must combine your technical insight with a proactive and commercial approach to the tasks.

TRIAX is an international supplier of innovative, high-tech solutions for receiving and distributing TV, radio and internet. Its products and solutions are used by hotels, broadcasters, cable operators, local networks and residential properties.

TRIAX has a turnover of approx. DKK 500 million and has about 250 employees headquartered in Hornsyld, close to Horsens. Global sales are handled by 9 sales companies and more than 60 distributors.

Job description:

In reference to the company's Sales Director for Export, and based on the head office in Hornsyld, you will be commercially responsible for maintaining and developing selected markets. Your role will be both tactical and operational as you through the right analysis of trends in customers and markets will secure the future growth.

Triax sells through partners who are primarily Distributors, System Integrators, Operators and wholesalers, which means that you must work with long-term customer relationships and understand how to create value in both your own and the customers' value chain.

This is an independent and demanding role that, in addition to your technical understanding, places great demands on your communication skills, as the interaction with your customers and colleagues is crucial for success.

Your primary tasks will be:
  • Establish and maintain good customer relationships
  • Driving sales to existing customers – and challenge them for growth opportunities
  • Act as a commercial sparring partner for the customers - and support their need for technical support through your back-office functions
  • Responsible for achieving sales budget
  • Responsible for expanding the customer portfolio - including attracting potential new partnerships
  • Reporting among other things on performance, pipeline, growth opportunities and trends
  • Active participation in sales-related campaigns - including exhibitions and roadshows

You can expect travel days in the job equivalent to 60-80 days a year – of course complemented with virtual meetings after customer relationships has been established.

Your background:

The position requires solid commercial understanding combined with experience in export sales through partners. You must be able to work independently with professionalism, as your task is to ensure the necessary momentum through long-term strategic sales efforts, entrepreneurial spirit and operational daily actions.

Your personal competencies in combination with your professional qualifications are therefore essential to succeed in the job.

We expect the following:
  • You have solid experience of documented and successful Business to Business solution-sales - experience with hospitality sales of technical solutions (headends, B2B TV, telephony, IP / Wifi or similar) is an advantage but not a requirement. Experience from System Integration, tech sales through wholesale, genuine trading of tech products or similar qualifications are also valuable
  • You have experience in both direct and indirect sales through channel partners
  • You are structured and analytical with regards to business planning, goal setting and evaluation of development
  • You manage to inspire and engage with a professional, welcoming and energetic approach to the tasks
  • You have experience working internationally - alternatively in a larger organization with different stakeholders
  • You are innovative and dare to challenge the "the normal way of thinking"
  • You speak and write English
