Service Sales Manager
Can you work with Service Partners globally, develop service products, and grow the business? And can you manage a global team of Service Engineers remotely from your base in Horsens? In that case you might be the one we are looking for to fill the newly established position as Service Sales Manager.
The job
Your overall responsibility is to coordinate all service sales activities – on the operational as well as the strategic level. You have a commercial mindset that serves to assist in the development of service partners worldwide. You will work closely with dealers and partners worldwide and support them regarding maintenance and spare parts sales.
You will be managing the team of service sales engineers that operate from different locations worldwide.
Selected areas of responsibility
- Collaborate with service partners globally to expand their service sales activity of Metso’s products.
- Grow and mature the partner network.
- Define and shape new ways to the market.
- Oversee orders received, net sales, and the profit margin.
- Secure profitability on spare parts sales.
You will be having interfaces throughout the entire organization and be in close contact with colleagues and service partners worldwide. Some travel activity must be expected, in the range of 50-80 days annually.
About you
We expect you to have experience from a similar international role. You must be comfortable with remote leadership as your colleagues and partners will be located in different places all over the world. You must have both the required technical understanding as well as a commercial mindset to fully maximize the potential of the partner network.
Qualifications
- You have experience in developing service sales and after sales in a technical environment.
- You have global experience with dealers and service partners.
- You have a proactive approach to stakeholders and focus on strengthening collaborations both internally and externally.
- You are an active leader – preferably with experience in remote management of technical teams.
- You have a technical background or experience with technical products.
- You have the desire and willingness to take responsibility and make independent decisions.
- You are a strong communicator verbally as well as in writing in both English and Danish.
You enjoy working in operations and you are driven by growth and progress. You see a massive potential in service and spare parts sales, and you may have experience with predictive maintenance or similar approaches.
