We are now looking for the Commercial Feedering Senior Sales and Pricing. You will be responsible for optimizing Sealand Europe and Mediterranean network by selling open space on our vessels to other shipping companies or NVOCC. Also contribute to the company delivery its overall EBIT targets.

Key responsibilities

  • Identifying opportunities in the network that are attractive to other shipping lines/NVOCCs
  • Set and negotiate terms and conditions for customers ensuring healthy margins and operational feasibility
  • Follow up with customers on their volume performance and Sealand operational performance
  • Ensure all revenue is collected by having high contract data quality (alignment with sales support person) and direct follow up with customers
  • Set up and deliver a sales volume pipeline
  • Define the customer segmentation strategy
  • Be the owner of the product and coordinate all the Commercial Feedering related activities with all teams involved: Market management, Finance, Capacity, Marine, Cargo execution, Network, Customer Service and Sales Support

What we look for

The ideal candidate will have solid experience from a sales, key client sales or business development role, combined with project management and network experience. Experience in knowing the booking and invoicing process is a plus as is systems knowledge with e.g. AFLS, Sales Force, CMD, GCS.

We also expect the candidate to have below skills:

Technical Skills:

  • Understanding network logic and container operations
  • Understanding pricing structure
  • Understanding commercial needs and contracts

Business Skills:

  • Positive mindset to convince and draw in internal and external stakeholders

  • Excellent English communications skills and the ability to work with various teams, remotely and locally
  • Structural worker that can set and execute short, mid and long term strategies
