In Sales & Marketing, we are responsible for creating growth in overall sales for our Better Airport® solution. We develop our own predictive software (SaaS) for which you will assist in with making sure that the industry hears about it – as we have plenty of strong customer cases and are targeting even more! As a student assistant you will join a team consisting of our CCO, Marketing Manager, and our Business Development Manager. Together we are responsible for sales and developing and executing our B2B marketing strategy. Your tasks will include:
Independent and creative profile
We are looking for a young professional who studies a (digital) marketing and/or communications degree – preferably with one or two years of study remaining so that we can work together for a longer period of time. We are growing at a fast pace and expect to expand our sales, marketing and communication team over the coming years, hence why this will also be an excellent opportunity to develop a potential full-time employee.
We expect strong English skills, both written and oral communication. You enjoy thinking out of the box and never take no for a no. You work in a structured way and ensure that tasks are completed. You do this by working in a result orientated way.
On a personal level, you have a big drive combined with an interest for learning new. You need to be creative and want to try working with lots of different assignments.

Copenhagen Optimization was established in 2014 and delivers software as a service solution, allowing for airports in both private and public sectors to work smarter and more efficiently. We ensure this by challenging our customers and expecting them to be open to change and have the willingness to do things better. We are based in Copenhagen and have recently opened a second office in Boston, USA. With our planning solution for airports, we are leading the way within the aviation industry to a data-driven future.

As a student assistant you will join a team consisting of our CCO, Marketing Manager, and our Business Development Manager. Together we are responsible for sales and developing and executing our B2B marketing strategy. Your tasks will include:
- Write and post Social Media content (LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.) (Target is approx. 3 post per week)
- Update our website (new site on its way)
- Help with producing graphics and visuals (via Canva or other tools)
- Update our event calendar and support with other practical tasks in relation to events
- Support with reading articles, drafting press releases, etc.
- Share and promote job posts on various channels and industry groups
- Maintain marketing and content calendar alongside various communication tasks
