About the opportunity
Sanofi Denmark is seeking an experienced KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER to successfully manage relationships with all relevant stakeholders and key opinion leaders in the diabetes and endocrinology field.
You will be also responsible for product promotion activities, building and maintaining relationships with healthcare professionals such as general practitioners, nurses and key opinion leaders in the mid and south region of Denmark.
The role will report to the National Sales Manager (Rikke Spure N).

Sanofi Denmark is seeking an experienced KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER to successfully manage relationships with all relevant stakeholders and key opinion leaders in the diabetes and endocrinology field.
You will be also responsible for product promotion activities, building and maintaining relationships with healthcare professionals such as general practitioners, nurses and key opinion leaders in the mid and south region of Denmark.
The role will report to the National Sales Manager (Rikke Spure N).
Key Responsibilities
- With internal and external support, you will take a pivotal role in initiating relevant sales activities for your target audience in the region aligned with the overall regional plan.
- Analyse territory regarding sales potential, stakeholders and account management
- Define an operational sales plan to reach your defined goals and key performance indicators
- Ensure that you are up to date with both product knowledge, strategy and the therapeutically area
- Obtain your goals (SFE, target, sales) in alignment with NSM/PM/General Manager
- Organize, plan and arrange different types of customer meetings
- Arrange the sales visits to obtain an optimal exploitation of the visits/your time
- Arrange relevant meetings in the districts, which can supplement the daily contact with the customers
- Present the products of Sanofi in accordance with the strategy and defined product split to obtain optional sales results
- Obtain and pass on relevant information from the market to the National Sales Manager, Product Manager and General Manager
- Share best practice and supply valuable insights and feedback to your colleagues
- Take part in relevant national meetings, congresses and symposiums
- Contribute to cross functional work within the district
About you
To excel in this role you will need to have:
- BSc or MSc in Health and/or Natural Sciences (Nurse, Pharm, Biologist etc.) or a commercial degree (MSc or BSc; Cand Merc., HD or similar)
- LIF certificate
- Proven sales track record; 2+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience
- Ability to quickly acquire strong product and disease knowledge
- Knowledge of the diabetes area is an advantage
- Result oriented with excellent communication
- Team player with strong cooperation skills
- Open minded and flexible with a can-do attitude and ability to meet strict deadlines
- Excellent time management, prioritization and scheduling skills
- Relevant IT skills
- Oral and written fluency in Danish and English
- Located in the mid/south part of Denmark with an existing customer network in the region
- Willingness to work irregular hours
- Valid driving licence
