We are now looking for an experienced Sales Manager, Distributors & Discontinuation.

In this newly created role, you will be responsible for all Distributors & Discontinuation in Sales with focus on development of our Global Distributor and Discontinuation channels.

You will manage and develop global discontinuation channels with an aim to optimize sell-through and margin performance on products from previous seasons. This requires a multi-channel approach navigating both premium discontinuation channels across Europe, US and Asia as well as bulk sales of non-commercial inventory to distant markets.

You will manage and develop the global portfolio of Distributors (Master Franchise) markets primarily in Asia but also South America and other non-EU/US markets. Develop 3–5-year business plans in close contact with our strategic partners, drive execution and deliver on-target performance while protecting the LIEWOOD brand.

You will be a part of a fast-growing global brand, and a dynamic team powered by ambition, passion for design and strong business acumen.

You will be reporting directly to our CCO and COO and you will be working from our beautiful LIEWOOD HQ in Copenhagen, Blegdamsvej 124.

Overall purpose of the job

With special focus on:

  • Improve stock turn on discontinued products
  • Secure best possible margins through a blended portfolio of partners and different channels.
  • Work closely with Merchandising and Category Management to pro-actively drive the discontinuation agenda through minimizing ageing and maximizing margin.
  • Manage and drive expansion of Distributor markets with a short-term focus on non-EU European markets, Asia and a mid/longer term view on South America and ROW.
  • Secure the best-in-class partners/distributors for LIEWOOD with a view to in-market distribution network and on-brand activations.

Above all, drive a relentless focus on achieving short- and long-term targets in assigned markets. The Sales Manager, Discontinuation and Distributors, is expected to significantly accelerate the stock turn of out-of-season products and grow the Distributor channel via new and existing Key Accounts by 2024/2025.

Main tasks:

  • Assume full responsibility for all accounts in the assigned region.
  • Drive sales performance from day one according to targets and KPIs.
  • Develop and optimize existing Key Account base. Optimizing ROI on customer and market level in close collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Identify new segments and channel opportunities. Negotiate and implement new distribution primarily through large(r) Key Accounts.
  • Determine market strategy and goals for each priority market:
  • Structure GTM process.
  • Measure progress and profitability.
  • Optimize sell-through of discontinued products.
  • Ensure successful collection launches
  • Drive re-orders via strong sell-through performance

Key skillset required:
You have

  • Experienced & proven Sales Management including strong skillset in driving new sales/new business initiatives in both Discontinuation and Distributor (Master Franchise) channels.
  • Background from Lifestyle/Living/Fashion wholesale/B2B Key Account Management.
  • Experience with Kids brands an advantage but not a requirement.
  • Proven ability to create and implement a strong sales strategy and GTM plan.
  • Intelligent and quick in real-time delivery and actions
  • Strong communicator
  • Strict on meeting deadlines
