On behalf of Miltenyi Biotec, Academic Work is looking for an Account Manager to enter an exciting new position. The right candidate for this position combines a science background and talent for establishing relationships with great skills and a strong interest within sales and marketing.

As an Account Manager, you will be part of the Nordic team of 14 passionate people in an informal flat organization structure, currently consisting of fellow Account Managers, Application Specialists and local marketing. With your enthusiasm, drive and tenacity you will create new openings and possibilities within the Nordic Biotech and Pharma segment. Academic Work is responsible for the recruitment process, but you will be employed directly by Miltenyi Biotec.
Job duties
As this position is new, you will get the unique opportunity to shape and create your job. You will be the key player in sales; developing sales and marketing strategies with the purpose to develop future sales growth. You will be working with biotech and pharma companies in the Nordic region, which requires excellent relationship building skills.
You will refer directly to the Country Manager, Nordics and Baltics and you will be responsible for:
- Strategic account development for Nordic Biotech and Pharma accounts
- Account-mapping and development of individual account plans
- Apply strategic thinking to improve the sales and marketing efforts in the Nordic Biotech and Pharma segment
- Collaborate with local marketing and arrange seminars, events, and other activities
- Collaborate with global headquarters in Germany as well as global Key Account Managers
- Utilizing existing relationships to build success
- Development and implementation of strategies to achieve short, mid- and long-term objectives
- Develop the sales tactics, sales plans, and profit targets in line with business objectives
- Full budget responsibility for consumables and instruments sales for key accounts
We are looking for
- You have a master´s degree or PhD in life science - within the field of cancer; immunology, hematology
- You might have previous experience from sales and have established relationships to the Nordic Biotech and Pharma community. However, you may also be open and curios to leave the laboratory and be involved in science from a new perspective
- You are excellent in English – both written and spoken. You master one or more of the Scandinavian languages
- You have a driver’s license
- 50+ travel days per year fits your lifestyle

OTHER INFORMATION:
- Start: Upon agreement
- Work extent: Full time, expect 50+ travelling days per year
- Location: Home office based plus travelling. The office is located in Lund, Sweden, where you may work from time to time
- Salary: Fixed + bonus + benefits
