Stibo Systems is a software company, and today we consist of more than 600 employees worldwide with 200 people in our headquarters in Højbjerg, Aarhus.

In Sales Engagement and Operations EMEA, 20 colleague influence upon the growth of Stibo Systems in supporting our direct and indirect sales channels. Currently, we are experiencing an increasing global demand in MDM software, and an ambitious growth strategy has been launched involving large investments both in personnel and product development. On that note, we are looking for an ambitious Pre-sales Engineer, who wants to make a notable difference in our team.

The position as Pre-sales Engineer

As Pre-sales Engineer you report directly to the VP in Sales Engagement and Operations and support the sales process across our core industries in the European markets – right now with a primary focus on the Nordic area. Your technical knowledge and your innate communication skills provide advice, support and functional insight into Stibo Systems’ STEP software.

Work assignments:

  • First and foremost – being an MDM evangelist
  • Influence on winning new businesses through value add/solution centric selling
  • Respond to RFIs and RFPs together with your team
  • Develop, build and deliver exceptional functional presentations and promoting Stibo Systems’ MDM offering at conferences and webinars
  • Support Stibo Systems’ business partners
  • Position Stibo Systems’ MDM solution
  • Continually innovate and find new ways to articulate functional capability and value proposition

We are close to 10 colleagues working dedicatedly with presales, but the role naturally generates close cooperation with several other parties in sales and other departments.

Travelling is essential and you should expect approximately 50-75 travelling days per annum. Mostly, you can expect to be back sleeping in your own bed that same day.

On your professional and personal qualifications

This position appeals to the candidate who has already gained some experience from a similar role. We are on the lookout for an experienced candidate with a solid track record, but also willing to invest in a candidate with less experience but hungry to deliver results.

Mandatory skills we are looking for:

  • Solid presentation skills
  • Experience within the software industry – Master Data Management, Product Information Management, CRM, ERP or the like
  • Comfortable communicating at C-level
  • Knowledge within data domains counting product, customer, supplier, location and employees
  • Ability to configure complex software solutions
  • Overall technical skills

You have a relevant academic background as cand.it or similar. A solid Presales track record compensates for the absence of an academic degree.

The personal skills we are looking for are:

  • Good communication skills as you will communicate with a variety of stakeholders on a high level
  • Passion for technology and people
  • A team player who likes to work with different kind of stakeholders and nationalities
  • A result-oriented candidate who gets a kick out of winning business deals with the rest of the team
  • Flexibility as planning might change rapidly
