Can you provide insights and recommendations on pricing and money-making logic?
If your field of expertise is qualitative analyses, and you are looking for a job where you will have over average opportunities for influence, result making, and learning, this job is right here. At Milestone, we continue 20 years of growth in order to set even more standards for others to follow as the world’s leading provider of IP-based video management solutions. Now we have established a new team of specialists that shall provide insights to ensure the right product offerings and pricing. That is why we need you and all of your skills across qualitative analyses and additional desk research.
Independent planning and conducting of research, analyses and presentations
As our new qualitative specialist, your primary focus is to turn insights learned from various interviews into conclusions and recommendations that can help us bundle our products the right way at the right prices. You will work with customers, partners, internal stakeholders – basically, everyone that you and we consider as relevant. If you have the skills and interest and if it makes sense you will also get the opportunity to support our quantitative analyst in his work with analyses and case modeling. Your primary tasks will be to:
- Prepare and conduct interviews with internal stakeholders, partners, and customers
- Gather and structure competitor and sales channel insights through desk research
- Analyze results and turn it into conclusions and recommendations presented in an easily understandable way (final receivers are executive management)
- Support on quantitative data analysis and scenario modeling tasks – if it makes sense
- Contribute in solution design, brainstorming and developing concepts for pricing and money-making logic
As you will join a newly formed team you will have ample opportunities for influencing and shaping your own role as well as our overall systems, methods, approaches. Additionally, we expect you to grow and take on gradually more responsibility as you get acquainted with our organization, customers, and stakeholders.
Entrepreneurial mindset and 3+ years of qualitative research experience
We are looking for a profile that can thrive in a fast-paced growth organization where the only constant is change. As such, you will not find a full set of Standard Operational Procedures, you will contribute to the development of such when necessary. This calls for your ability to work independently – to identify a problem, to come up with a way to solve it, and to get it done within agreed deadlines. As a qualitative specialist, you must naturally be able to make other people feel relaxed and comfortable in your presence. You must also have the communication skills needed for being able to ask the right questions and on the go twist those if necessary in order to get the information, you are looking for. Additionally, your CV comprises:
- A Master’s degree that has provided you with a good theoretical foundation for analyses
- 3+ years of experience from planning and conducting qualitative analyses
- Good English skills, written and spoken
- Experience with or motivation for developing skills within conjoint analysis
- An open mind and motivation for working in a very diverse environment with a global perspective
Your new team
You will be part of Insights & Sales Tools team where you will have 7 good colleagues covering various competencies within analyses and business modeling. However, approx. 70% of your time you will be allocated to our newly established VMAX (Value Maximisation) team. Both team’s focus is to bridge Products, Sales, Finance and Legal in order to create long term sustainable growth. We base our work on agile principles and a very inspiring Milestone culture.
