Improve commercial performance and results
As Retail Sales & Performance Manager at Pandora, you will be part of an exciting business area and work in an international hub of can-do spirited and performance-driven people. Global Retail Excellence is a small and relatively newly created department where team members have diverse backgrounds and areas of expertise, and you will get the chance to work with many different colleagues across our organization to help increase global retail performance through solid data analyses and insights. By doing so, you will be key in elevating our omni-service and in driving performance of our retail store teams.

As a strong stakeholder manager, you’ll partner with retail training teams to analyse and interpret customer experience data. You’ll identify and assess best practice markets, stores and individuals, and share these insights through forums to improve performance in other Clusters and markets. Furthermore, you will:

Through sales data, identify outliers of commercial results and highlight performance, analyse and interpret customer experience data, and look for fact-based opportunities to improve commercial performance

  • Understand markets and gather insights on sales trends and customer behaviours, and agree key strategic priorities with commercial functions
  • Ensure cross-functional alignment with key stakeholders, particularly with Digital and Consumer tech to ensure that the customer journey across all touch points is seamless, efficient and, above all, customer centric
  • Actively provide inputs and guidance to all commercial initiatives and customer journeys, ensuring any new initiative is aligned with Global Customer Experience principles
  • Partner with HR Talent team and Retail Training to identify opportunities to drive a healthy performance culture, specifically focusing on developing world class retail teams
  • Provide inputs for the creation and development of sales initiatives and recognition tools to engage and excite our retail stores teams to deliver

You will report to the Director of Customer Experience and Retail Training, and you would get the chance to lead and develop a Specialist who will work with you on setting up projects, analyses, reports and presentations.

We imagine that you possess a strong commercial mindset and are driven by a desire to have impact and create results. You place the customer at the centre of everything you do, and you have a keen interest in customer journeys and how to improve them. You are data driven, good with numbers and gets a kick from connecting the dots when you present your findings in a structured way through compelling and interesting storytelling. Also, you are a strong leader who understands the importance of bringing people onboard through motivating and engaging ways of working, and you are able to connect well with people of different nationalities and from all levels of the organisation. In addition, we hope to see that you have:

  • Several years of experience within retail operations and/or sales, e.g., as Regional Sales Manager, District Sales Manager, Retail Operations Manager or similar. Alternatively, a combination of retail industry experience and experience working with sales performance management in a global or regional HQ function
  • A university degree within business administration, economics, finance, commercial, marketing, statistics or other similar fields
  • Experience working in a global organisation, preferably within retail, consumer goods, digital & technology, services or similar
  • A proactive mindset with a doer mentality
  • The ability to deal with uncertainty and a dynamic, changing and past-paced environment
  • A structured approach and understands the importance of well-documented processes
  • An ability to drive projects and initiatives independently from start to finish
  • Experience working in MS PowerPoint and Excel at a high level

Limited travelling can be expected up to 10 days/year to destinations such as Europe, China and North America.
