If you see Visual Merchandising as a key commercial lever and strategic brand activator,
then you might be our new VM Specialist.
We are looking for a skilled Visual Merchandiser with great abilities in product styling (ideally in jewellery), the patience to go into details, and a structured mind-set.
The perfect candidate strives to ensure everything he/she creates is the best is can be, both by perfecting working tools and by challenging status quo. Moreover, he/she has made the demonstration that VM is one of the strongest commercial levers while being an image driver and a storyteller.
As a key member of this team, your main objective is to ensure that you are creating and communicating inspiring, commercial and creative set ups that are on brand and able to be implemented on a global scale for every store concept.
Your role:
- Develops seasonal and Generic VM guidelines for our 10 clusters
- You are both a leader and a team player, inspiring and encouraging team members in the office and out in the markets to champion Visual Merchandising as a key component of a successful retail organization.
- You are open and accept and give feedback easily.
- You are a precious sparring partner for the entire VM team.
- You work closely with the VM Manager to establish best practices to grow the Pandora brand through innovative styling and merchandising as well as help spot talent in our stores through hands on coaching.
- You establish a close collaboration with Global Merchandising to ensure proper arrival of products and align with them on the key commercial drivers and stories for each campaign.
- You partner with Retail Communications to develop supportive assets to help tell complete stories of campaigns.
- You work with our inhouse Creatives to secure clarity and recognition of our Campaigns when executed in all of our store concepts.
- Reviews photos of Campaigns from the markets and gives constructive feedback in order to achieve a consistent and compliant visual level.
Your new team
You are part of the Global VM team which consists of the VM Implementation team (yours), the VM training team and the VM creative team, all reporting to the VM Director. The VM Implementation team fully implements concepts/campaigns in our showroom for internal check-ins and validations; works cross functionally with multiple stakeholders to ensure successful and timely implementation of said concepts and campaigns; develops generic and seasonal VM strategies, principles and guidelines; keeps abreast of competitor landscape to ensure Pandora strives for excellence in VM.
What is needed to succeed:
- About 5 years’ experience in VM, Retail and Jewellery
- Experience in Jewellery and/or Fashion apparels, in high profile retail brands with focus on Premium execution
- Strong product styling ability with focus on commerciality
- Experience in developing comprehensive VM guidelines
- Good understanding of the consumer journey and retail (sales) operations in store.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
- Working knowledge of Photoshop and In Design preferred but not required
