We are looking for an experienced Sales Executive to join our team in Denmark. You will bring passion, drive and a genuine customer-first approach to help our customers achieve their digital transformation goals.
The Unstructured Data Solutions (UDS) division of Dell Technologies, leads the storage and infrastructure industry by creating transformational business outcomes through deep expertise, differentiated solutions and disruptive technologies. We are seeking a passionate and results oriented Sales Executive that has the ability to articulate the value and return on investment of a differentiated solution across multiple decision makers.
You will work on some of the largest enterprise businesses in Denmark, many with global reach. Each customer will bring a variety of challenges and opportunities, demanding all of your skills and experience to engage across stakeholders and business processes.
Success in the Role: What are the outcomes over the first 3-6 months you will work towards completing?
Making an impact early within UDS relies on 3 core elements. Establishing relationships with colleagues, customers and partners; building solid knowledge and understanding of our technologies; navigating the sales processes and best practices within our teams.
Within 90 days, you will be establishing a vision and plan to guide your long-term approach to pipeline generation, prospect and close named accounts against established competition, to meet and exceed assigned quota on a quarterly and annual basis. You will also establish and nurture relationships at all levels of the customer organization as appropriate and departmental through line of business.
From there you will be a key part of Dell's core sales team, facilitating and collaborating on engagements between partners and customers to support greater revenue streams. Help bring a strategy focus and best practices to support sustainable growth. Influencing and aligning resources to achieve greater outcomes for your business.
What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?
- Be the front line executive, building, developing and managing the territory, taking responsibility for driving new business and expanding the territory.
- Assimilate specific vertical market background, requirements, and infrastructure attributes, and apply this knowledge to sell differentiated solutions.
- Drive account strategies and coordinate team-selling efforts to close business on a quarterly and annual basis.
- Manage multiple customers and opportunities, maintaining accurate forecasting and clear management communication.
- Drive customer satisfaction in all assigned accounts.
- Become known as a thought-leader in unstructured data solutions
- Holistically embrace, access, and utilize the channel to identify and open new, unchartered opportunities.
Essential Requirements
- Consistent track record of exceeding quota while maintaining customer loyalty.
- +7 years of direct sales experience selling differentiated solutions to mid-size and large enterprises.
- Demonstrated ability in creating demand rather than fulfilling demand.
- Strong experience managing multi-tiered customer relationships.
- Ability to foster communication within a sales team, while promoting independent activities and parallel efforts.
- Fluent Danish and English is mandatory
- Experience with target account selling, solution selling, and/or consultative sales techniques; knowledge of MEDDIC and Challenger methodologies is a plus
