MISSION
As Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for development of the GTM-strategy in your area. You will draw up the sales plans and the maintenance of long-term relationships with the customers, in order to achieve loyalty and increase revenue. You will also act as your customers first contact for all products and services. You also need to be prepared for some domestic travel activity.
As Key Account Manager, you will report directly to the Country Head of Commercial in Denmark.
MAIN TASK
- Build and maintain effective long-term relationships and a high loyalty among your customers
- Identify, develop, and close strategic sales opportunities
- Focus on building the market within Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS)
- Conducts regular meetings with major clients to understand their needs and strategy
- Prepare (co-ordinate) customer presentations, tender documents, and contracts
- Tailor the offering to customer requirements and negotiate the final contract
- Lead, support, and contributing to the Sales process during project bid preparation (e.g., strategy, approach, partnership, scope, pricing, risk mitigation, etc.)
- Contribute to the draw of the Segment Plans, Commercial Accounts Plan and Action plan
- Deliver regular, high quality and transparent reporting of activity and results
- Achieve revenue targets by increasing revenue spend per account
- Interpret external business challenges and recommend best practices to improve process, solution, or service
The ideal candidate for this position has an interest and curiosity in technical communication solutions. With a preferable background from the Telecom industry or industrial sector and used to work with leading strategic accounts. On top of this you will also have a strong commercial mindset.
For the right candidate, some of the below skills should be recognized,
Professional skills
- + 5 years’ experience from the Telecom or Industrial sector B2B (Commercial)
- BSc. in Telecommunication/Electrical/Electronic Engineering or similar
- Complementary studies in Business Administration/Economics/Marketing or BSc. in Business administration/Economics/Marketing but not a must
- Strong track record in sales, forecasting, management, and deal closing
- Experience in building a new customer base generated by cold calls and lead calls
- Experience in customer engagement, sales, and business development
- Ability to achieve results in cooperation with many internal and external stakeholders
- Danish & English verbal and in writing. Other country languages valuable
- IT knowledge important - Excel, PowerPoint, Word
- CRM Salesforce
