What to Expect
The Key Account Manager will be responsible for sales to large corporate clients through our partnerships with the operational leasing companies in Denmark. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with these clients and their affiliated leasing provider, managing the full end-to-end customer journey. The Key Account Manager for Denmark will report to the Business Sales Lead and will closely collaborate with other teams, including local operations on retail and delivery, International KAM team and HQ business sales leadership to drive repeat business and to chart a path for Tesla to become the preferred EV OEM.

The Key Account Manager will be responsible for sales to large corporate clients through our partnerships with the operational leasing companies in Denmark. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with these clients and their affiliated leasing provider, managing the full end-to-end customer journey. The Key Account Manager for Denmark will report to the Business Sales Lead and will closely collaborate with other teams, including local operations on retail and delivery, International KAM team and HQ business sales leadership to drive repeat business and to chart a path for Tesla to become the preferred EV OEM.
What You’ll Do
Large Corporate Clients
- Reach out proactively to large corporates within Denmark in collaboration with Account Manager to introduced and sustain knowledge of Tesla value proposition.
- Operate with a real “hunter” mentality, with high activity levels to stimulate demand.
- Own the relationship for large corporate clients, short-term rental and subscription providers within Denmark not only educating them about our company and our vehicle offerings but ensuring a great customer journey and ownership experience throughout.
- Drive repeat business with existing and new corporations; pursue bulk deal opportunities wherever possible.
- Open company car policies and become the preferred EV OEM for corporate partners.
- Leverage existing leasing company relationships and/or partner with Leasing channel to grow sales within this segment.
- Establish and manage all contractual agreements with these customers; where applicable.
- Meet sales objectives by driving deliverable orders, scheduling sales meetings, and making the best use of available assets (e.g. vehicles for test drives) as well as driving strong payment performance with clients to ensure timely payments for existing products and services.
Operational Leasing Companies
- Own the relationship for Fleet Management, Broker and Operational Leasing Companies
- Support leasing landscape through excellent advisory on residual value management, service agreements, and through execution of a sound operating framework.
- Become a preferred EV OEM for all of the partners you manage.
- Establish an excellent operating framework, including management of contractual agreements, digital tools adoption, ownership management, and escalation handling with these customers.
- Enable and manage operational lease offerings for Tesla vehicles through these leasing companies; ensuring the best possible pricing.
- Ensure you have a constant appreciation and understanding of their needs and requirements; specifically, any shortfalls in our offering.
- Leverage all Leasing Company relationships and partner across teams to enable the Corporate Fleet business.
- Manage the local relationship with our preferred partners.
- Develop a marketplace for brokers where possible.
- Meet sales objectives by driving new orders across client types, driving down delivery dwell, and enabling strong payment performance with clients to ensure timely payments for existing products and services
General Duties
- Actively partner with the Business Sales Lead to develop a cohesive strategy for the growth of enterprise vehicle sales within Denmark.
- Manage the overall business plan by working with other departments.
- Facilitate partner meetings regularly and effectively.
- Meet all sales objectives to drive Tesla’s mission.
- Drive our customers’ success by acting as a facilitator to meet their needs.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive product knowledge in respect of all vehicles, processes and business finance solutions. Conduct competitor analysis on a regular basis.
- Actively collaborate with Tesla teams (field sales and account managers) to provide coaching and training on Business-to-Business sales.
- Use Tesla’s Customer Relation Management system and tools to log appointments, calls, test drives, contacts and meeting notes.
- Ensure customers are fulfilling their contractual obligations (e.g. payment terms).
- Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and procedures to reduce operational friction.
- Perform ad-hoc duties as and when required.

Requirements
- Relevant professional experience.
- Significant experience in Business-to- Business or commercial sales with proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets and goals.
- Ideally experience from Automotive, Finance or Operational leasing.
- Self-starter who possesses exceptional time management skills and has great attention to detail.
- Strong ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and adhere to business-critical deadlines
- Ability to communicate relevant information to all levels of the organization.
- Passionate dedication and ethical approach to sales management and operations.
- Ability to develop collaborative relationships and act as a well-respected, trusted partner that others want to work with.
- Strong team-player, driven and passionate about Tesla’s mission.
- Excellent relationship management and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Solid knowledge of business appropriate financial options and incentives.
- Fluency in English and Danish required
- Driving license
