COWI is looking for a Bid Manager to drive key proposals within the Power-to-X and Carbon Capture industries. Do you want to surround yourself with colleagues who are striving to empower you, encourage you to the better and make you raise your standard to a higher level? You will be integrated in the newly formed Capture Office, which is a part of the Energy International Business Unit.

Your position in our Business Development team, which have a focus on delivering high quality proposals in a professional, structured and efficient manner. The team works closely with the Market Development colleagues across COWI. We are passionate about contributing to COWIs vision: “Together, we shape a sustainable and liveable world” with our great colleagues and our customers.

The Capture Office aims to support the implementation of COWI’s strategy; “Future Now” by supporting COWI’s Energy business with the most important leads and proposals across Energy International and COWI.

It is the Capture Office’s responsibility to bring together the best existing capture competencies distributed in COWI’s organization, ensuring a robust organization of the tender execution, sales and marketing platform from the outset. We believe that green transition and healthy business always go hand in hand.

You bring a business-oriented mindset to the team and have relevant experience to drive the processes around the bid. You can't help being a initiator. In the Capture Office, we have an ever-increasing focus on customer centricity, and your focus and curiosity is on best practice concerning communicating with external stakeholders.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Bid Manager is responsible for proposal management from the reception of 'Request for Quotation' until the Contract/LOI is signed and successfully handed over to the Project Manager. This includes:

  • As leading Bid Manager you act as the Client's single point of contact during the tender process.
  • You manage all activities in the following phases: Customer Assessment + Project Assessment + Tender + Contract and project.
  • You cooperate the with Market Directors / Business Developers and involve them where needed/requested in the proposal process.
  • You manage the frequent communication with the 'COWI responsible' to ensure accurate data in Sales Pipeline.
  • To continually develop Best Practices in proposal management by enhancing proposal tools, e.g., templates, design approach, layout, reference lists etc.
