Become a part of our Sales team in the Electricity Division
Kamstrup is a Danish technology company and one of the world’s leading manufacturers of intelligent metering solutions. Therefore, we are looking for a Key Account Manager who can contribute by developing our key accounts globally within our Electricity division.

With direct reference to our Head of Global Sales, you will be a part of a team that focuses on delivering high quality solutions and services which create data transparency and increase energy efficiency worldwide. The team is dedicated to helping our customers see the benefits of our technology come to life. As part of an entrepreneurial team in this business, you will play a key role in understanding the needs of our customers and help shape the future of businesses of all sizes to use technology in order to connect with customers, employees and partners.

Key Account Manager with the ability to lead account strategy and develop business growth opportunities

In this new established position, you will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with business unit leaders to deeply understand their unique company challenges and to advocate for Kamstrup solutions. You will therefore be in charge of acquiring, developing and managing our key accounts and building professional relationship at all levels. Hence, it is important that you have a deep industry understanding or insights from similar industries, where you have excelled in developing long term business results in close collaboration with customer and internal stakeholders.

More specifically your primary responsibilities will be to:

  • Proactively drive customer activities in order to develop relationships and create new business opportunities
  • Lead and manage entire business-cycles and present large multi-year agreements to CEOs and C-level executives
  • Lead detailed account strategy in generating and developing business growth opportunities as well as working cross-functionally with multiple lines of business
  • Manage professional customer relationships - from lead generation through project support to account development activities
  • Secure execution of the account development plans across relevant internal stakeholders by leveraging on product and service roadmaps
  • Present appropriate business cases to accommodate growth opportunities

In the job you can expect around 90 travel days per year.

Personality matters
You hold at least a Bachelor’s degree and minimum 8-10 years’ professional experience in working with B2B sale. You have successfully demonstrated results from a similar position, where you have obtained experience with large complex commercial and legal negotiations as well as working with procurement, legal and business teams.

More specifically, it is a requirement that you:

  • Have a proven track record leading sales and account management in an enterprise B2B company
  • Have experience working with C-level accounts
  • Have solid experience managing global accounts
  • Have demonstrated strong commercial results in a similar role

As a person you are outgoing and able to build strong relationship at all levels of the organization. You have strong commercial mindset as well as negotiation skills, and you are comfortable with providing advice to senior managers. You are driven by creating results and possess the patience to creating long term results. Furthermore, you are a strong communicator and able to work with sales engineers and technical leads while having the ability to engage and build trust.

You are fluent in English both written and oral.
