We are rapidly growing our business based on a solid foundation and we are looking for a new colleague to join our experienced and diverse team dedicated to the green transition.

Based in Denmark Xolta develop and manufacture advanced cloud connected stationary battery solutions and industrial battery packs for various mobile end market applications with an existing customer base. On top of the physical energy storage products and battery packs, the Xolta offering consists of a cloud-based platform for energy optimization, reseller support functions and end user interface to the products.

As Area Sales Manager you will be executing the go-to market strategy to win further Commercial Battery projects. Residential Battery sales is also part of the responsibility while not the immediate focus. Your tasks include identifying new customers with focus in Nordic countries and UK and direct neighborhood and management of existing customers in that region. You will develop close relations with our customers and continuously build on their potential. Depending on the customer you will typically interact with different parts of the organization: Sourcing, project management and commercial functions. You will work closely with our technical designers, mechanical engineers, and sales team colleagues in developing and delivering solutions that meet future business and customer needs.

As the business area is growing fast you will have great influence on shaping this market region and have a direct impact on the segment strategy. You will report directly to the Head of Sales.

Xolta A/S is a Ebbefos Holding company which is owned by the charitable foundation Ebbefos Foundation I Denmark focusing on children's well-being.

Your contribution to the team.

  • Identifying and developing the commercial and residential battery pack business.
  • Acquire new customers and leads.
  • Organizing sales visits and close new and sustainable business in alignment with budgets.
  • Present the company's capabilities at related conferences.
  • Giving demonstrations and presentations to help clients discover and understand products/services.
  • Liaising with existing clients and grow the business.
  • Manage the key accounts in your region to grow the business.
  • Providing pre-sales and post-sales support in cooperation with colleagues.
  • Negotiating contracts, terms, and conditions with a great commercial flair.
  • Active participation in knowledge sharing with your fellow colleagues and contribute to the overall company success.
  • Maintain your pipeline and sales forecast through state-of-the-art CRM system.
  • Ensuring that sales targets are met.

To succeed in the role, you have the following qualifications.

Combinations of experience and skillset are diverse, and we like you to apply even if you do not tick all the boxes completely:

  • You have at least 5 years of relevant sales experience within a comparable industry.
  • You have a strong commercial mindset combined with a solid understanding of technical solutions, gained as sales engineer, sales manager or similar.
  • You are a person whom we can entrust with the relationship of our important customers.
  • You are motivated by a large degree of freedom to create results independently while being corporative with your fellow teammates.
  • You have excellent communication and negotiation skills and understand the long-term value of strong customer relations.
  • Proven track record of technical sales ideally in the battery storage environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in a Nordic language and English. Strong Danish language skills are a plus.
  • Strong sense of detail and quality.
  • Experience from both small and large companies will be an advantage.
  • Location of work preferred to be in Xolta office in DK.
