Our Hearing Instrument Business is on an exciting growth journey and we are now looking for a skilled colleague to join our team in Global Training & Sales Enablement in a newly established position.

Global Training & Sales Enablement is part of the Commercial Operations function in Demant and responsible for the training of sales companies, distributors and customers in our Hearing Aid solutions. As our Senior Sales Enablement Manager with a focus on Commercial Product Training, you will have a significant impact on how we enable our sales teams to succeed in effectively engaging with customers across different channels. More specifically, you will ensure that our sales teams can convert product features and benefits to value from the customer’s point of view.

The Responsibillities

You will report to the Director of Global Training and Sales Enablement and be responsible for the product specific sales training of Demant sales teams following the principles of the Demant Sales Model. More specifically you will merge the sales skillset training carried out by our colleagues in International Sales with product specific sales training of local sales team. You will also be responsible for ensuring that supporting marketing material is aligned with the sales process and comes with an explanation for how it is put into play.

At our global headquarters you will be part of a great team working collaboratively across brands and commercial disciplines and in close interaction with our more than 30 sales companies and distributor markets around the world. About you

Supporting sales to drive growth you will be the owner and creator of global commercial product training programs, which includes competitive selling, and ensure local implementation and follow-up.

Specifically, this means that you:

  • Create and run commercial product training of sales teams in support of campaign and product launches.
  • Develop and train competitive selling in support of Demant solutions and product launches.
  • Drive and support local commercial product training initiatives and ensure commercial product training programs are implemented and anchored within Sales teams.
  • Apply a blended learning approach to commercial product training in support of commercial priorities, product and campaign launches.
  • Collect and ensure insights from the market are represented in the global campaign execution.

You are confident and trustworthy you have a high commercial understanding and good project leadership skills. You naturally take ownership of your work and have a proactive attitude. Tight deadlines and working with people energize you, and you easily create structure in a workday where the tasks are many and the needs of the different stakeholders are diverse.

Besides that, you preferably come with:

  • A background within Audiology or Hearing Sciences.
  • Work experience either from Clinical Audiology, from the industry or a similar medical device industry.
  • Experience with developing sales training programs and training material
  • Practical experience with conducting training of salespeople (using e.g. SPIN or other methodologies).
  • Worked with project management in a global company for a few years.
  • Interest in working in a digital universe
  • Speak and write English fluently.
  • Actual sales experience, ideally, however not a pre-requisite.

Our working language is English and business travel (approx. 40-50 days per year) should be expected.
