Field Sales & Key Account Manager – Off Trade at Pernod Ricard Denmark

In collaboration with our partner Pernod Ricard Denmark, we are looking for a creative and dynamic Field Sales Manager (majority of the role), who also has experience with Key Account Management and is keen to work and further develop as a Key Account Manager. As a Field Sales Manager, you will manage the 6 Off Trade sales reps. It is a rare opportunity for the right person within an exciting environment at full speed.

Pernod Ricard Denmark is a strong challenger in the Danish market and is responsible for some of the leading brands in the Danish grocery trade within the spirits category and with significantly growing market share over the past years. FMCG experience is a must, but you do not need to know the category beforehand, but if you are curious about spirits, we would like to hear from you. You will become a part of a strong and dedicated team, which also manages to have fun at the same time,

About the job

As responsible for Off Trade Field sales, you must build bridges between customers, commercial management, and back office, to ensure the implementation of trade marketing and brand strategies. Through analysis and retail planning, you must ensure that the Off Trade business for Pernod Ricard Denmark will develop positively following agreed targets and expectations. Together with 6 skilled and experienced sales reps, you execute the sales plan and implement the strategy to the retail market. We place great emphasis on analytical skills and the ability to translate data into ambitious and realistic goals. You must constantly challenge our go-to-market strategy and plans, adapting to changes in market opportunities and portfolio prioritization. You will be fully KAM and P&L responsible for the customers Dagrofa and Nemlig.com and other independent customers which you support in close collaboration with an experienced sales coordinator. Together with your KAM colleague, you will own the entire planning of the Off Trade business and you will be the responsible for all retail trade marketing execution. You monitor sales based on agreed KPIs, which are reported and shared on an ongoing basis with sales management and marketing. You work closely with your colleagues in sales and marketing, but also with supply chain and finance.

Your profile

You might be a sales manager or a regional manager and have experience in working with key accounts. A big plus would be if you are directly responsible for some of these customers. As a minimum, you are used to negotiation and have participated in annual meetings and projects with some of the chain customers or wholesalers. Team/people management experience is a must in order to succeed in the role as Fields Sales team leader.

The ideal candidate should be eager to learn and curious about how to realize the true potential of the business. Furthermore, our candidate has a good understanding of the trade marketing mix and find great motivation in being responsible for both planning and implementation. As a leader, your spirit and positive dedication influence the people around you. You are entrepreneurial, trustworthy, transparent and with a high energy level. To be successful, the right candidate must also be conscientious, dedicated and structured. At the same time, you are a good negotiator with professional business acumen and are skilled with numbers. We need a profile that can challenge the status quo and find new creative solutions.You are familiar with Microsoft Office and a native Danish speaker. Finally, you understand and speak English, which is the corporate language in the company.
