We are looking for the next Head of Sales Snacking to develop and lead the Snacking BUM sales team in retail and convenience.


Orkla Danmark is a leading supplier of branded consumer goods and branded product solutions to the grocery sector, specialist retailers and out-of-home sectors. They have recently merged Orkla’s danish foods and snacking businesses into one of Denmark’s most significant FMCG companies with a total turnover of nearly DKK 2 billion and a wide range of household brands like KiMs, Beauvais, Naturli’, Havrefras, Bähncke, Den Gamle Fabrik and Panda – just to mention a few!

As Head of Sales Snacking you will be responsible for achieving our ambitious sales and profitability targets. Your main goal is to promote and expand your sales team’s commercial activity, in a way that will generate revenues and lead to sustainable growth.

Through inspiring leadership and active coaching, you enable the fulfilment of our strategic and tactical objectives and financial goals and by further developing and supporting your high performing, efficient Snacking sales team consisting of 5 business unit mangers.

Main responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain excellent customer and partner relations based on in-depth understanding of their needs and objectives
  • Develop, lead, and motivate the Snacking BUM team in Fields, Discount and Convenience channels
  • Be an active member of the leadership team in Sales as well as in Orkla Danmark’s Business Forum for top 30 leaders
  • Secure in-depth cooperation and relationship with all commercial functions across the company – Marketing, Finance, Field Sales, BUM team Foods, Net Revenue Management team, Customer Support and Demand Planning
  • Execute sales and customer strategies, planning and implementation, in line with Marketing and Sales strategy
  • Develop yearly channel and customer plans and identify profitable sales opportunities to grow revenue and market share
  • Responsible for yearly negotiations with customers and for executing the pricing strategy and price management in framework of the yearly Commercial Process
  • Develop, lead and manage sales activities of the Snacking BUM sales team by building and steering an effective team with a strong customer, quality and outcome focus
  • Drive cross functional co-operation and proactively participate in relevant Orkla forums and networks, both nationally and internationally

Your qualifications

You hold an MSc in Business or similar and on top of that, you have obtained several years of experience from a similar role with documented results of positive top-line-growth within the FMCG business area.

Further to that, we are looking for a Head of Sales Snacking who;

  • has a strategic commercial mindset and can create growth through sales execution, customer cooperation and price management
  • are experienced in creating high performance sales teams and actively seeks to collaborate across functions
  • has the ability to prioritize, focus and set clear directions and follow-up on delivery
  • brings strong and proven leadership skills, and lead in an inspiring, trustworthy and engaging manner, to constantly increase the bar for performance
  • is able to act as a trusted strategic partner to the Commercial Director

As Head of Sales Snacking you will work out from HQ in Vallensbæk but with required presence in Søndersø.
