B2B Technical Sales Engineer – Denmark
Desotec’s mission is to protect our planet. We provide end-to-end purification solutions for pollution in air, water and other gases and liquids. We do this by supplying mobile filters with activated carbon filters to our B2B customers all over Europe. We take back the spent activated carbon and recycle it in our own reactivation facilities. By doing this we offer a closed loop, circular filtration solution to our customers.

- As a Sales Engineer you are responsible for the sale of technically challenging projects in the field of air and water treatment as well as in process applications, including biogas.
- You are a true sales developer: you help to expand the customer base by actively approaching the relevant industrial stakeholders
- As Desotec is a market maker, you are able to identify relevant leads, get meetings and trigger prospect’s interest to go into more technical discussions with yourself or one of your specialist colleagues.
- You analyze the problem definition of the customer, and you develop a solution with accompanying follow-up and service.
- You make the offers and handle the new requests.
- Through active prospecting you expand the customer base in your assigned region. Social selling tools have no secrets for you. You have no hurdle connecting with the market, creating and generating awareness through the use of social media.
- You are in close contact with your international colleagues to share best practices and expand key accounts. Several times a year you participate to international trade fairs.

Profile
- You are a proactive, commercially driven and analytically strong engineer with a good basic knowledge of chemistry.
- You have excellent communication skills in English both verbally and in writing.
- You live in Denmark and are willing to travel.
- You preferably have several years of work experience in a related field: biogas, chemistry, water treatment, soil remediation, environmental techniques…
- You have a professional social (digital) network helping you to enhance awareness immediately.
- You like to work independently, and cold calling is your second nature.
- You like national and international travelling.
- The fight for a better environment drives you.
