Are you a driven and motivated sales analyst interested in becoming a part of the sales team in one of the leading food producers in Europe?

On behalf of our client Dr. Oetker, we are looking for a highly analytical sales analyst interested in markets-, category-, and sales-analysis. We are looking for a dedicated and highly motivated profile whose primary responsibility will be analysing and determining sales potential and ways to enhance sales performance.

As Sales Analyst at Dr. Oetker in Denmark, you will be able to further develop your skillset in a global company who values its employees. Dr. Oetker Denmark is experiencing growth and is ongoing developing its product range, as well as sales- and marketing processes, where this role will play an important part in support of this development.

The position is located at the Danish HQ in Glostrup, as part of the Nordic administration.

Sales development & growth potential

As Sales Analyst you will be conducting thorough market research on sales development and contributing valuable inputs to optimize sales strategies. Your other responsibilities include monthly customer performance reports, identification of potential growth drivers and analysing shop floor processes to achieve new best practices in alignment with chosen KPI’s

Primary work assignments:

  • Monthly customer performance report vs targets/KPI
  • Update standard monthly reports and interpretation in support of Management, Category, Marketing and Sales departments
  • Identification of potential growth drivers in the retailer landscape
  • Analyse shop floor tests to achieve new best practices in terms of listings or merchandising activities
  • Creation of fact-based shop floor data reports as an aid to drive additional sales via our salesforce
  • To become the hero of NRM with the purpose to continuously optimize sales results
  • Participate in cross-organizational projects where analytical skills are needed (e.g., NPD planning and evaluation tool)
  • Development of Excel-based scalable tools for structuring data and improving analysis

Highly analytical, driven and a strong communicator:

You are a result-driven and proactive individual who thrives in working in a fast-paced and communicative team. You can efficiently operate with a commercial mindset, and you focus on solving problems, paying attention to details, and working closely with your colleagues in solving the problems at hand. Furthermore, you are a strong communicator who can argue based on your knowledge.

Professional qualifications:

  • Experience within, e.g., Danish retail, online market (food or non-food) or financial markets
  • Experienced with structuring and analysing POS data to valuable insights and presenting it convincing
  • Highly experienced with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint – Knowledge about NielsenIQ desktop is an advantage
